Want to own the Full House house?
March 28th, 2019 under For sale, Full House. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2016, Executive Producer Jeff Franklin bought the San Fransisco home that is used for the exterior of his shows Full House and Fuller House. Now, he tells the San Fransisco Chronicle that he is putting it on the market next month.

He explained his decision to paper, “It is a symbol of the shows I love, and the second family I have formed with the casts of ‘Full’ and ‘Fuller House.’ Now that ‘Fuller House’ is ending, I will be putting the home back on the market. I hope to find a buyer who wants to make it a full house once again.”

He never lived in the house that he paid $4 million for, but he did do some renovation inside of it. The paper says that it was what he wanted to make it look on the inside like it does on the show, but his neighbors, who are not happy with all the fans stopping by, put the kibosh on that.

It is unknown what he will be selling it for, but I would assume it would be more than what he paid for it. Thus, if you have an extra $5 million laying around, it can be yours.

Nicolas Cage’s 4th marriage lasted that many days
March 28th, 2019 under Nicolas Cage. [ Comments: none ]

Four days ago, Nicolas Cage got married for the fourth time and it is ending up like his other marriages.

Cage and Erika Koike had a rush wedding in Las Vegas on Saturday. Then yesterday he went to the court to ask that their marriage be annulled. According to Radar Online, he alleges, “As a result of his intoxication, when Defendant suggested to Plaintiff that they should marry, Plaintiff reacted on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.”

The two have been dating for almost a year before they got married and divorced in less than a week.

When it comes to celebrity marriages, his marriage lasted a day longer than Britney Spears and Jason Alexander’s (not the actor from Seinfeld) did and 2 days less than Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra’s.

Cage is no stranger to short marriages, he and Lisa Marie Presley did not make it to four months. Maybe it is time he gave up on the notion of being married?

Abby’s is doing something no other sitcom has done…
March 28th, 2019 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_sCNp0X8KM
For the first time in television history, a sitcom is being filmed entirely outside with a live audience. Tonight at 9:30p on NBC, you will watch as Abby’s attempts to do the impossible. A whole show shot in nature on the Univeral Lot.

Abby (Natalie Morales) has been running a bar in her backyard that is unlike any other. Not because it is in the backyard of the house that she rents, but also because she has 162 rules the patrons must follow. Not only that, there is a pecking order for them to follow before they can sit at the bar with Fred (Neil Flynn), Beth (Jessica Chaffin) and James (Leonard Ouzts).

Fred has known her for a long time and was her first customer. Beth lives within viewing distance so she can watch her kids as she drinks. James in the bouncer but he just drinks. Finally, there is Rosie (Kimia Behpoornia) and she is Abby’s assistant. You can tell she wants to be her boss, so she does everything in her power to make sure Abby stays happy.

That is a good thing because Abby is going to need it. Her landlord died and now that lady’s uptight nephew is in charge of the property. When Bill (Nelson Franklin) finds out about the bar, he wants to close it down because, you know, it is illegal. Everyone is going to do everything in their power to convince him to keep it open. Eventually, he gives in and becomes a member of the bar. Just because he is sitting in the primo spot does not mean he is going to stop putting in his 2 cents all the time.

The recently divorced Bill does not realize it at first but he really needs these people as his friends. They will help him out and slowly get him to remove the stick. Granted he is a work in progress.

The bar is not. This is not Cheers, but it is still about a makeshift family who enjoys being around one another. Granted the booze helps, but only a little bit.

Abby’s is another great sitcom on NBC’s Thursday lineup which is why it is still known as Must See TV, so see it.

I have to gone to a few tapings of Home & Family which also tapes outside on the lot and it is not easy. First off, it is less than 5 miles from Burbank airport and on windy days, planes fly right over them. There is an amusement park on the lot. It is also a very green area and that means there are animals and bugs around. You can’t just shut it all out by closing the doors to the sound stage because there are no doors. Therefore, my hat is really off to them.

Anthony Anderson hopes that Jussie Smollett wins a NAACP Award
March 28th, 2019 under Anthony Anderson. [ Comments: none ]

Anthony Anderson is hosting the NAACP Awards again this Saturday and Extra asked him some questions about the show.

Terri Seymour first wanted to know if nominee Jussie Smollett will be there? The actor told her, “I hope he is here. I hope he wins, I hope everyone wins.” He added, “I am glad everything has worked out for him. But I hope he is here so he can celebrate with his community, with his family, and with his friends.”

Even though the charges were dropped, to me, no one is saying he is innocent. If he is guilty of staging a hate crime on himself, he hurt his community, family and friends. Therefore, would they want to celebrate with him? Even his Empire crew and cast are reportedly torn about welcoming him back to the show.

What Anderson should have said is, “I don’t know if he is coming, but I hope he does because it will be good for the ratings if he shows up.” Although, if Smollett were to go, his appearance would overshadow anything Anderson does. And is it just me, or does it seem like Anderson doesn’t like to share the spotlight with anyone ever since he started doing Black-ish.

I hope Smollett doesn’t attend. Everyone still needs time to heal. We don’t know what happened that night, but it seems like there are a lot more questions than answers. That is causing people, who never believed him, to think that he lied and we should not believe victims of a hate crime.

What Smollett needs to do, is take some time away from the spotlight and do the charitable work that appears to have helped him get the charges dropped. To me, if he tries to save his career now, it makes him look guilty. He needs to earn his way back like Robert Downey Jr. and Rob Lowe did.

Plus, can we be honest? Smollett’s career pretty much stalled during the second season of Empire. His music did not seem to break out and what else did he do besides the Fox show. The first two seasons people knew his name. However, how many people were like which one is Jussie when the news broke in January?

Here’s the dirt how Machine Gun Kelly transformed into Tommy Lee
March 28th, 2019 under Mötley Crüe, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Machine Gun Kelly plays Tommy Lee in the Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt on Netflix. Like the drummer, Colson Baker also has a shirt of tattoos. His ink is not like Lee’s, so the makeup department had to cover it up everyday for the four month that they filmed the movie. Therefore, they put on a darker colored foundation on to hide his tats and then put a lighter one on to match Lee’s paler skin. When they were done, you couldn’t see any of Baker’s markings.

But what about the infamous scene with the rocker running around the hotel with just his underwear? Baker had to sit in the chair even longer so that they could apply those tattoos over the two layers of makeup.

If you watched the movie, then you would be none the wiser that he had to go through all of that to look the way he did.

When it comes to the film, it was too sterilized for me. It felt like a Lifetime movie with nudity and cursing. That and there was too much narration. Let the story tell itself. Having said all of that, it is worth the watch whether you are a fan of Crüe or not.
