The Simpsons will never die!
February 6th, 2019 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

On April 29, 2018, The Simpsons became the longest-running scripted program on primetime television beating out Gunsmoke. You would think that Fox would say this is a good time to end the show. Then you thought wrong. That is because they picked up the animated family sitcom for two more seasons. That brings their total to 32 seasons with 713 episodes…and counting.

I say…and counting because you know Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are not going anywhere anytime soon. They will outlive us all! They are like cockroaches during a nuclear war and that is a good thing. Not roaches (we need to make them extinct already), but The Simpsons will continue to bring joy for many generations to come. Unless there is a nuclear war, then the only ones who will enjoy them will be roaches.

James Corden recreates that scene from When Harry Met Sally with Billy Crystal
February 6th, 2019 under Billy Crystal, James Corden. [ Comments: none ]

Whether you have seen When Harry Met Sally or not, you know that scene where Meg Ryan fakes an orgasm in front of Billy Crystal while they are eating at a deli. Then Rob Reiner’s mother says, “I’ll have what she’s having.”

Well, yesterday when Crystal was on The Late Late Show, James Corden brought his guest to a diner and shot a scene just like that one. Instead of faking the Big O (because that would be like totally awkward), he said that talk show hosts fake it with their guests sometimes. The actor did not believe him, so the CBS late night host showed him how. Oh yes, yes, yes, he did.

Who got Estelle Reiner’s line? You just have to watch it all the way through for a very happy ending.

Henry Winkler does The Fonz dance on The Tonight Show
February 6th, 2019 under Henry Winkler, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Henry Winkler was a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday and he made quite the entrance. Do you know how The Roots play a song for the guest as they walk over to Jimmy Fallon? Well, for the actor they played Hava Nagila. As soon as he heard the tune, he recreated The Fonz dance he did on Happy Days to it for everyone to enjoy.

He might not have done that dance since the ’70s, but he still has the moves at 73. What is even more amazing is that he did not even break a sweat. Which is why he will always be cool like The Fonz. Or I should say The Fonz is more like Henry Winkler than the opposite way around. Which is why we love him so much. That and he is the nicest guy in Hollywood.

Don’t remember the dance, then click here!

The amusing reason to take kids to an amusement park

Ever since I was big enough to get on rides at an amusement park, my dad took me on them. Therefore, they don’t scare me. I know that is just me and a few others. Which is why I always enjoy taking my friends on scary rides to watch them scream and curse at me. In fact, I have a huge smile on my face just thinking about that.

I also could have that smile on my face because I just watching 10 minutes of kids going on scary rides for the first time, getting splashed on while watching water rides and just falling off of them. While it is not fun for them, it is the true reason we should take them to amusement parks. That is why they called amusement parks. They are there for our amusement and not the amusement of the children. If it was for children, then they would be called a scary wet place with sugary food.

How long will Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s truce last?
February 6th, 2019 under Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds. [ Comments: none ]

After years of fighting, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have decided to call a truce. Not only that they both agreed to do a commercial for the other one’s companies. Reynolds went first and he did a very touching ad for Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee. Then it was time to see how Jackman did with Aviation American Gin. How did it go? Let’s just say, I do not think we will ever see a Deadpool/Wolverine movie. Deadpool vs Wolverine, maybe. One as buddies, never ever.
