We are used to hearing about how people calling the cops on scary Halloween decorations, but a Christmas display in Austin had one man dialing 9-1-1 according to KVUE.
The Heerlein family wants to win a neighborhood contest, so they decided to recreate that infamous scene with Clark Griswold from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Well, I guess a passerby did not see the movie and thought the fake dummy was a real one. Thus, he tried to move the ladder to rescue the guy, but that did not work. Therefore, he called the police who showed up to a big surprise.
Now the family has a sign on their lawn letting people know that there is not a dead person hanging from their roof. It is just a life-sized dummy that looks like the real deal.
When it comes to if they won the contest, we don’t know. But I think they should because who had the po-po called on them?

It has been over 50 years since Vicki Lawrence wrote Carol Burnett and said she could play her sister. The letter worked because she got the job doing just that and eventually played her mother on Mama’s Family.
Even though it has been a half-century since they first met, the two of them are still friends and hang out. Having a friendship that most of us which we could have.
They might not have born as sisters, but they have become just that over all of these years.

The media cannot get enough of Joe and Nick Jonas and even Kevin gets his time in the spotlight every now and again. What about Frankie, the bonus one? You never hear about him since he was busted 2 years ago.
That all changed because the youngest Jonas brother was seen this weekend at his big brother’s wedding to Priyanka Chopra. I mean, of course, he did go, but you did not see him until his brother Joe shared this family photo of the Jonas Brothers. All four of them and not just the ones that were in the band.
BTW Is it just me or is the 18-year-old a perfect mix of all of his brothers?

NYPD reunited recently engaged couple with their lost ring! |

John proposed to his girlfriend Daniella in Central Park, and all was great for the newly engaged couple. After that moment of joy, they went to see the sites of NYC like Times Square. There was just one problem. The ring was too big, slipped off her finger and fell though a subway grading. They tried to retrieve it to no avial.
Someone at the NYPD saw the video and the next day ESU Det. Bucchignano & Glacken went back to get it for the couple. They were able to find out, but now the couple was lost. They posted several tweets asking for someone to identify the soon-to-be-married couple and eventually the case was closed.
The couple, who are now back in the UK, joined Twitter to say something. Danielle wrote, “Thank you again @NYPDNews we will never forget how much effort you went to. Love New York ❤️”
Say what you want about NYers, but we are always there for you when you need us.
