I guess no one wants to hosts awards shows anymore because NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association have asked Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh to host the Golden Globes. The Oscars got Kevin Hart and they got two forgettable people.
I mean Samberg hosted the Emmys and no one remembered him the next day. Then there is Sandra Oh. Does she even know comedy or how to host? They did an overacted bit at the Emmys and someone thought they would be good hosts?
I just don’t get this choice, do you?
Looks like they got the hosts finalized at the last minute because nominations are tomorrow and the show airs exactly one month after that.
Emma Bunton was on Live with Kelly and Ryan yesterday and the hosts wanted to know how the Spice Girls got their start.
The singer told them that her music teacher in college was her there was a group of girl who were looking for another member. She told her mom, who then drove her to the train station to meet the girls. They got along so well, that five of them would meet up at her mom’s and rehearse in her living room. In fact, when they were out on the road, Mrs. Bunton would make them sandwiches to eat on the way. How sweet?
I think we can all agree that is how she got her name Baby Spice.
In the first full trailer for Once Upon a Deadpool, the PG-13 version of Deadpool 2, we find out that Fred Savage was kidnapped and that is why he is doing the movie. We thought it was a joke, but turns out it is what really happened.
In an exclusive generic interview with the kid from Princess Bride, he revealed what really happened. Kevin Arnold got a call from Ryan Reynolds asking him to be in the cleaned up film. The child star then asked him why he would want to do that. Before he could get the answer, the next thing he knew was that he woke up on the set. That’s right, he says he was kidnapped.
Teaching us an important lesson, “You just don’t say no to Ryan.” Unless your name is Hugh Jackman.
The squeaky-clean version of Deadpool 2 comes out on December 12th, and Savage said his kids enjoyed it. Maybe because they liked seeing their dad all tied up?
Back in 2006, Benji Schwimmer defied the odds and won the second season of So You Think You Can Dance. The scrawny little dancer was a fan favorite because we loved his geekiness.
That was then, now 12 years later he is a buff man showing off his muscular body. Who knew that by doing Swing dancing it would give you a bod like that? Now thanks to DNA Magazine we know that. So who else besides me is going to sign up for classes? Plus, am I the only one who wants him to be their teacher. He teaches Tango too, right?
Bruce Springsteen has spent the better part of the year on Broadway doing a one-man show of his music and he needs a break. Yesterday, he broke the news that he will not be touring with the E Street Band in 2019, but he will be working on new music instead.
You cannot blame him for wanting to take a year off, he has earned it. Plus, you know he will come back stronger than ever. He always does.
