Last night on Jeopardy, Alex Trebek was handed a blank card when it came time to ask a question to contestant Michael Pascuzzi about himself. Turns out the reason why is because Pascuzzi had a question for his girlfriend Maria Shafer. The ultimate question.
What did she say, “What is yes!”
This morning she was on Mix 105.1 and told them how it all went down. Pascuzzi had no idea he was going to do it until about 10 minutes beforehand. He was talking to the contestants in the green room and they said it would be a great idea. Then they ran it by the host, who was also on board. When the big moment came, Shaffer had no idea he was going to do it. It was a nice surprise!

Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman from Real Housewives of Dallas were on Pickler and Ben, and Kellie Pickler and Ben Aaron challenged to a mechanical bull riding competition.
The American Idol singer went first and barely stayed on. Then it was time for Hollman to holla back on it and she showed it who was boss. Aaron, the only man, was able to last longer than the two before him. Could Redmond beat all of them? Let’s just say she made Pickler feel better.
I think all talk shows should have a mechanical bull on the set for their guests to sit on. The interviewee has to answer whatever questions the host wants if they fall off it before 10 seconds. How awesome would that be?
We saw a lot of interesting characters on Flavor of Love and one of the women almost vying for Flavor Flav’s love was Tiffany Haddish.
The actress made the confession when she and Kevin Hart answered the Web’s Most Searched Questions for Wired. Someone asked if she was New York from the reality show? She was like, “Hell no, I got all my real t!tt!es and a$$.” Then she added, “You know I auditioned for that show, Flavor Flav. When I found out, it was Flavor Flav, you had to be in a house with, I was like, oh no, thank you.” Do you blame her?
Actually, I do because imagine how awesome she would have been on the show? But then again, she might not have done The Carmichael Show had she been on the reality dating series. That would have been a huge loss for just 15 seconds of fame.
Yesterday, it was time for a new game on The Tonight Show and it is called Slay It, Don’t Spray it. Jimmy Fallon invited Shawn Mendes to be the first one to play it.
What is the game? The two men have to sing a popular song and see how well you know the lyrics. If they mess up even the smallest of words, then they will get water sprayed on to their face from the microphones. Which has to hurt. Thus, it is fun for us to watch. Therefore, press play!
Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey released a solo album over the summer and he has been touring around the world to promote it. Recently, he played a gig in Portland and some very lucky people got an intimate show. That is because he and the band did a warm-up show in the bathroom. The room with the best acoustics in the house.
