Last night on Jeopardy, Alex Trebek was handed a blank card when it came time to ask a question to contestant Michael Pascuzzi about himself. Turns out the reason why is because Pascuzzi had a question for his girlfriend Maria Shafer. The ultimate question.
What did she say, “What is yes!”
This morning she was on Mix 105.1 and told them how it all went down. Pascuzzi had no idea he was going to do it until about 10 minutes beforehand. He was talking to the contestants in the green room and they said it would be a great idea. Then they ran it by the host, who was also on board. When the big moment came, Shaffer had no idea he was going to do it. It was a nice surprise!
