Remember when Wil Wheaton wore his Star Trek costume to see Star Wars: The Force Awakes on The Big Bang Theory and we all laughed. Well, I guess Sheldon Cooper’s arch nemesis thought it was such a good idea, that he decided to try it out in real life when he went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Mann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. How did it go over? Thankfully, it was packed full of nerds who appreciate both Stars and he is alive to praise the second to last Star Wars movie.
Now had he seen it at the AMC Burbank 16 late last night for one of the IMAX screenings where the audio went bad, things might not have turned out as well for him. Because according to KABC Burbank’s finest were called in to bring calm to pissed off theater goers. No one messes with a Star Wars movie on opening night and expects to get away with it. Do they?
James Corden has done several Crosswalk the Musicals in Los Angeles on The Late Late Show including Grease and Beauty and the Beast, and now he taking his act to Broadway. Not inside a theater but on the streets outside those theaters in NYC.
If you are going to take over the great The Great White Way, you need some big names to sing and dance along side you. Therefore he got the three leads from The Greatest Showman to join him on the concrete. Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Zendaya and the CBS late night host belted out New York, New York from Our Town, Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat from Guys & Dolls, The Greatest Show from The Greatest Showman and closed it out with Fame. All those songs honoring the Big Apple, but they are just missing one, Lullaby of Broadway from 42nd Street. Other than that, bravo, bravo!
Plus, it is a Christmas miracle they are all alive because you don’t mess with NYers and traffic.
On November 27th, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they are engaged and today Kensington Palace revealed what day they will be walking down the aisle.
His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will marry on 19th May 2018.
Today’s announcement follows earlier confirmation of the month of the wedding and its location at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
That means we have 155 days to get our plane tickets to London, find a hotel room and get the perfect hat. Now all I have to do is convince my friend to take me in, so we can go to the wedding together. Well wait outside with all the other people who want to catch a glance of the newest Royal couple on their wedding day.
One of the most anticipated news shows of 2017 finally has a premiere date, and Roseanne will be back on our airwaves with all new episodes starting on Tuesday, March 27th at 8p.
According to ABC the revival will, “Featuring the complete original cast, new series regulars and notable returning guest stars, the revival will explore life, death and everything in between through the relatable, hilarious and brutally honest lens of the Conner household. With the inimitable Roseanne at its epicenter, fresh stories that tackle today’s issues and even more laughs from a brilliant cast and crew that haven’t missed a beat, audiences old and new will celebrate the homecoming of America’s favorite working-class family.” I am assuming the death will be Mark Healy, in honor of his real life passing in 2002 when he was just 32.
When it comes to The Middle, it will move to 8:30p the following week. That is the first time it has held that timeslot since it first premiered back in 2009. At first I was pissed with the move, but then I realized Roseanne will be helping it get better ratings for final few episodes. I am so going to miss this show.
When it comes to what is gone in order to make room Roseanne. Say goodbye to The Mayor that is missing something that I cannot put my finger on.
