There was one scene from all the Star Wars movies that George Lucas and Irvin Kershner made Mark Hamill keep from everyone including his co-stars, and it was the infamous moment when Darth Vader reveals he is Luke Skywalker’s father.
The three men knew if it somehow got out, it would be Hamill that leaked it. So mum was the word for over a year and a half. He says he made sure not to tell Carrie Fisher because she could not keep a secret. In fact, he told Graham Norton that Harrison Ford and him would purposelessly tell her stuff to see how long it would take for everyone know. Talking about Han Solo, what was his reaction when he heard James Earl Jones say, “I am your father,” at the premiere screening? Hamill did a spot on Ford and said he leaned over to whisper in his ear, “Hey kid, you didn’t f*cking tell me that?” And with that Hamill was finally free to talk about that secret to anyone who asked.
BTW how much do you just love Hamill after this interview? He is just gosh darn lovable like an Ewok, BB-8 or a Porg.
2017 was crappy year to be honest. But there were some good things that happened like dogs playing with dogs, dogs playing with humans, dogs playing with themselves and dogs just being dogs. Even though it has been 11 years since Malcolm in the Middle ended its successful run on Fox, Frankie Muniz and his TV dad, Bryan Cranston, are still close. Here they are eating dinner yesterday with the loves of their lives and they look like any another father and son having a meal together. Showing us that there is a reason why we loved and still love that show so much, they had a real chemistry that transcended the script! One that lasted long after the sitcom ended.
Maybe it is time they gave Malcolm a revival, what else is Cranston doing?
Will Smith joined Instagram yesterday and Justin Timberlake welcomed him to the photo sharing site. The singer had some advice for his friend and tried to teach him about Throwback Thursday. Well, the actor knew about #TBT, so he decided to give his buddy some advice on what to avoid during his Super Bowl Half Time show. You know, like exposing another female singer’s nipple during the performance. Since Smith wanted to make sure he got his message across, he lifted up his shirt to expose his nipple.
So in 24-hours Will Smith has already mastered Instagram by posting an awesome #ThrowbackThursday and a #FreeTheNipple video. What’s left for him to do?
