Ariana Grande announces June 4th benefit concert for Manchester |

This Sunday, Ariana Grande will get some of music’s biggest names together to play a benefit concert in Manchester to raise money for Red Cross‘ Manchester Emergency Fund supporting the victims of the May 22nd bombing.
The announced acts are Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, Usher, Take That and One Direction’s Niall Horan with more names to be added throughout the week.
People who attended the tragic show, can register to get free tickets. Everyone else can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster this Thursday at 10a for One Love Manchester at Emirates Old Trafford. Can’t make it across the pond in time, BBC will air it live on television and radio.
I respect Grande for going back to Manchester and raising money for the victims. She could have just continued her tour, but instead this will be her first show since the incident that changed the way we will forever go to concerts. Music can be used for healing, so let the healing begin.

Greg (Barry Williams), Peter (Christopher Knight), Bobby (Mike Lookinland) and Cindy Brady (Susan Olsen) all woke up early today to talk about The Brady Bunch on Today.
Even though it has been 48 years since the classic sitcom debuted (Can you believe it?), Williams says they are still referred to as kids. Even I did it and they are all over 55 years old. Which is hard to believe because I still think of them as the way they were.
On that note, while Eve Plumb, who is in Ohio playing Elyse Keaton in a stage production of Family Tues, has tried to get to get away from the Brady image; these four have accepted that it will always be with them.
Lookinland said that the original fans of the show have grandchildren and they are checking it out now. Olsen’s theory is that the show was based on parents and kids respecting each other and they don’t do on television these days. Today’s shows are more about getting the parents out of there and parents can’t watch it to get tips on how to possibly be better parents. Although, I think some shows are trying to do that like Girl Meets World, Fresh Off the Boat, The Middle and Speechless, they just aren’t as innocent as TBB was back then. I agree with Olsen that we need to try to bring that back.
Not only did they talk about the show, they also talked about their TV mom Florence Henderson who passed away in November. They said that she loved to make people laugh and would do anything she can do to do just that. Which she did for us time and time again.
I said last week, that I think a show survives in syndication if the cast genuinely love each other and keep in touch. You can see that with this cast and it has been 48 years. Here’s to 48 more!

As we know Katy Perry is going to be a judge on ABC’s version of American Idol and it is rumored that she is getting $25 million for the gig. A number that reportedly isn’t sitting well with Ryan Seacrest. According to Page Six, he was only offered just over $10 million and he feels as the only original member of the singing competition left, he should make more than the newcomer.
While I get his point, I can see ABC thinking why should we pay him twice since they are already paying him for Live with Kelly and Ryan. Plus, Idol is costing ABC a lot of money and the chances of them making it back are going to be hard. At least according to CBS, who said it would take a 35 share to break even and that is why they turned it down.
Oh and Page Six also says that Perry isn’t making $25 million to do Idol. Which is a good thing because I don’t think she is worth that. Heck I don’t I even think she is worth a quarter, but that is me. I just don’t see people tuning in for her. Would you tune in for her or do you think they should have gone with someone else, anyone else?

Just in case you were wondering if Beyonce had her twins yet, yesterday she shared a photo to show us that she is still with children. The singer was wearing an bright blue bikini while holding Blue Ivy. That is a lot of blue for someone who should be tickled pink.
BTW is just me or does it seem like she has been pregnant forever?

Hugh Jackman has many special talents like singing, acting, dancing and fighting, but there is one thing he didn’t know how to do until now. That thing is slurping, and he learned how to do it from the Ramen Junkie. Who knew that was a thing? I have been eating Ramen all my life and I never knew that.
How did he do? Wolverine mastered it with his first slurp. Just a word to the wise, he shouldn’t try slurping when he is alone with his wife. If you know what I mean. No woman wants to hear that sound coming from underneath the sheets.
