May 21st, 2017 under Mariah Carey. [ Comments: 1 ]

Now that Mariah Carey is back with her Boy Toy, not Nick Cannon but Bryan Tanaka, so she needs to dress sexier for him. Here she is wearing a low cut black leather dress and she is definitely turning heads. Bryan better her make her feel like the queen that she thinks she is because he just had a birthday and he might age out soon.

The verdict is finally in for NBC’s Trial & Error!
May 20th, 2017 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Even though NBC announced their 2017-2018 schedule last week, there was show that was still waiting to find out if it would be back for another season. Today, that show found out its fate and Trial & Error will be back for a 10-episode second season!

All I have to say is about time because this is the wittiest comedy to grace our televisions in a while. You either have to watch it closely or watch it a few times if you want to catch all the jokes. Even then, you might miss a few. Although you might miss a joke or two, there are still plenty of them that will leave you laughing until you cry.

If you missed the first season, then you can watch it on NBC.com or their app.

Sherilyn Fenn has a good reason for missing the Twin Peaks premiere
May 20th, 2017 under Showtime, Sick Bay. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, was the premiere for Showtime’s revival of Twin Peaks and someone was missing. That person is Sherilyn Fenn and she explained why she wasn’t there. Audrey Home was not stuck at home, instead she said on Twitter, “SICK IN HE HOSPITAL: the ONLY reason I missed the premiere last night🍒💔🍒💔🍒” She did not say what is ailing her, but I hope she is home like her character’s last name and feeling better in no time.

If she is not back in her bed by tomorrow night at 9p, then hopefully her hospital gets Showtime so she can find out what is happening in Twin Peaks after a quarter of a century.

Who won The Toy Box?
May 20th, 2017 under ABC, Mattel. [ Comments: none ]

If you are like me, then you wanted Arya Ball to win The Toy Box ever since the season premiere. But the winner of the reality competition came in the final episode and it was 3D Liquid Art. While it is a cool toy and I can see kids enjoying, I don’t think of art projects when I think of Mattel. When I think of Mattel, I think of Barbie, Hot Wheels and board games.

On that note, another one of the toys from the last episode is also being produced by Toys”R”Us; and it didn’t even make it to the finale. That card game is Noisy Persons. I have played card games like Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity with my friends and I look forward to playing this one with their girls. I can totally see kids enjoying this, plus it also helps them with reading. And in Burbank, it teaches them acting! Which is a prerequisite in school. Joking.

And on a sweet note, even though Candy Crusher didn’t win the show, it is still being sold by the toy store under the name Sweet Shaper.

Hard to believe of these three, that Wiggies and My Ballerina Doll weren’t picked up Mattel. The former seems so up their alley. Maybe someone else would consider it for their dolls like Bratz.

Now when it comes to the show in general, I am OK with it not coming back. At least if it does, they need to get rid of Eric Stonestreet. He is the worst game show host ever. Instead of calming the contestants down before they would go in front of the judges, he would make them more nervous or tell an unfunny joke. In fact, he was more immature than half of the kids on the panel. You know which 2 I am talking about. I just won’t name them because I don’t want to diss a kid, just the kid who never grew up. Shark Tank works without a host and if The Toy Box comes back, which I doubt, they need to do the same. Or replace the Modern Family star.

What did you think of the show? What did you think of him? What did you think of the winner?

It’s Wonder Woman and Bionic Woman!
May 19th, 2017 under 70s, Lynda Carter. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’70s, little girls all over America looked up to two TV female characters and they were Wonder Woman and Bionic Woman. Yet, Diana Prince and Jamie Sommers only met in the comic books and never on the small screen. Now almost 40 years after that graphic novel series came out, the two women met at Paley Center’s Women in Television Gala.

Even though Lynda Carter and Lindsay Wagner’s shows ended in the late ’70s and they are both in their mid-60’s, they still look like the Superheroes we know them to be. So much so, I don’t know why someone doesn’t turn those comics into a series with them reprising the roles that made them famous. I bet it would be a ratings hit!
