ABC finally released some photos from the much anticipated Dirty Dancing remake and do you think you will have the time of your life watching it on May 24th?
The telemovie that stars Abigail Breslin and Colt Prattes as the roles that were originated by Jennifer Grey and the late Patrick Swayze seems to have captured some of the original 1987 film’s feel, but I still don’t think it needed to be remade. There was just something about it that made it feel special on its own, I don’t see why it needs to be retold.
Especially, since it was the chemistry between Swayaze and Grey that made it what it was. Now that he is no longer with us, I don’t think anyone will be able to recreate it. It is perfect just the way it is.
Will I watch? Of course, but I will be bitching about it until the credits role.
On a positive note, at least Debra Messing and Sarah Hyland truly look like they belong in the Catskills back in the ’60s.
Before Christine Baranski was a top attorney on The Good Fight, she needed one to get her out of her kidnapping charges on All My Children. She looks the same now as she did when she was 32 in that 1984 episode.
Back when Chuck was on the air, the fans would do anything and everything they could to keep it on the air. Now that it has been 5 years since the show ended, Zachary Levi revealed whether or not he is up to doing a followup movie for the popular spy comedy on Larry King Now.
Levi shared this update with the Ora TV host, “A lot people want a Chuck movie. I know you want a Chuck movie. I am trying, slow but sure process.” Then King wanted to know if he would go back to being the walking computer again, Levi responded by saying, “I wouldn’t mind going back to being Chuck for doing installments that were films. I think that could be kind of fun.”
Now that a whole new audience found Chuck on Netflix (according to what Levi told King), I think the streaming service should bring it back like they did with Gilmore Girls and Full House. The fans would love it, they could have fun with it. So why not do it? Only condition is that Jeffster has to be part of the deal. No Jeffster, no Chuck revivial.
Do you want a Chuck movie or are you happy with the way the show ended? As long as Subway is still around we can hopefully make it happen.
You know, Warner Bros should just open a division that only handles revivals. Fans love their shows and wants to see them back on the small screen. Look at how many of their shows have been revived from the dead (Full House, Gilmore Girls, Will & Grace and Veronica Mars) and how many more they can make possible. That answer is endless and I would start with Everwood.
Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen have some bigg news, they are expecting baby #2. Not only did they share the news on Instagram today, they also revealed how they made it. They used a snot sucker. At least that is what they told baby #1. Poor Sid, is going to believe that for the rest of his life. Can you imagine Sid telling his preschool girlfriend that he got her pregnant because he sucked her snot. That is like a guy telling me he got me pregnant because I sucked something of his.
Anyways, congrats to the Biggs family for getting Biggser!
Kelly Ripa has a new word that she wants to share with the world and yesterday she revealed it on Live with Kelly. What is the word? It is Vagagony. What does it mean? She says, “It is the agony you feel in your nether region after spin class.” The more you know!
Although ladies, I think we can all agree we can use that word for so many other scenarios.
