Shannen Donherty has been very open about her battle with Breast Cancer and sharing with the World what she has been going through from chemotherapy to radiation and all the tests and feelings that happen in between it all. Now, the actress is going to share with us what remission is like because doctors told her the cancer is gone.
Moments. They happen. Today was and is a moment. What does remission mean? I heard that word and have no idea how to react. Good news? YES. Overwhelming. YES. Now more waiting. As every single one of my fellow cancer family knows, the next five years is crucial. Reoccurrences happen all the time. Many of you have shared that very story with me. So with a heart that is certainly lighter, I wait. In the meantime, decisions. Reconstruction which is several surgeries. Decision on taking a pill for the next five years that comes with its own set of problems and side effects. I am blessed, I know that. But for now…. remission. I’m going to just breathe. #cancerslayer
I am so happy that she is in remission because she has helped so many people understand what it is like to go through the awful disease. In five years, I can’t wait to report that she officially cancer free.
There were several big sitcoms in the ’90s and Roseanne is the biggest one of them all. I am not referring to the show’s stars’ weight, who are not fat anymore. I am talking about the show’s success. It still runs in syndication on several networks and it is still adored by fans all over the World.
Today’s news is going to make those fan very happy because Deadline is reporting that the legendary comedy is being shopped around for an 8-epsiode season with Roseanne Barr, John Goodman and Sara Gilbert reprising their iconic roles. Also it looks like Laurie Metcalfe and her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki will be joining them. No word which Becky will be doing the show and if her character will be back. We do know that original Mark will not be part of it because Glenn Quinn passed away in 2002.
No word what the plot of the show will be or how they will bring Dan back, but I do know we want our Connors back. I am glad that they found away to bring Goodman back because he is the rock of the family that keeps them all in line. Just don’t tell Roseanne.
Where will the 8-episodes air? That is still to be determine. Deadline says that ABC, who originally aired the show, is definitely interested. So is Netflix, home of the Revivals, along with several other places that have shown their desire to air the influential program that changed the landscape of TV.
I love the age of revivals because it has given us more episodes of our favorite shows like Arrested Development, The X-Files, Gilmore Girls, Boy Meets World, Full House, Raven, Twin Peaks, Will & Grace and now Roseanne. Now, if only we can get them to revive Dinoasaurs, I would be the happiest baby!
It has been almost 22 years since Batman Forever came out, and yesterday Val Kilmer tried on the Caped Crusader’s mask again. Although the fit wasn’t as good as it was in 1995 Blockbuster, he still looks like he did when he played his biggest role of his career to date.
When it comes to how he ranks with the other Batmans, all the past Bruce Waynes can always say they were better than Ben Affleck. Like all Bonds, James Bond can say they were better that Pierce Brosnan. Back to Val and The Dark Knight, at least he didn’t kill the franchise off like George Clooney did.
Who is your favorite and least favorite Batmans? Mine fav is Adam West and worst is Clooney. But I hate everything Clooney does these days!
Let’s be honest, 3D movies are not worth the money. Yet so many people keep putting on those special sunglasses for an effect that is not worth the price. Especially since those glasses drown the color out of the film.
Yesterday on Late Night, Seth Meyers went off on these type of films and his words are so right on that you will want to high five him when he is finally done with his speech. He says everything we have been thinking every time we waste dinero for the special effect. So why do we keep giving movie theaters our hard earned cash for this? On the hope that we will finally see a flick where this trick actually works. Have you ever seen one that made it worth it? I haven’t.
Is that headline click bait? Yes! Do I care? No, it is Friday and I deserve a treat! In a way you are getting one too because you get to see Kate Beckinsale’s beautiful pussy cat nestled between her legs! So it is a win/win, no?
