Taylor Lautner might be the star of the young people, but he wasn’t doing what they do until today. That’s because everyone’s favorite Werewolf finally decided to join Instagram and he asked some friends to help him out with his first post.
First he went to Adam Sandler, but his dog wouldn’t let him be in it. Then he went to David Spade, but he was reluctant do it. That was until Lautner offered him a number he couldn’t refuse. That number was 10 digits. Not $1 billion, but Taylor Swift’s cell. Wonder how the singer will feel about her ex-boyfriend giving out her number? She’ll probably be OK with it after she finds out who he gave it to! If they hook up, the couple could be known as Swade. How perfect is that name?
Let’s be honest with each other, we have all been on a blind date. Those dates are normally awful, but at least you aren’t doing it in front of a live audience with millions of people watching at home. But tonight at 10p that is exactly what 4 people are going to do as contestants on GSN’s Idiotest.
Not only do they have the pressure of going on the first date with someone they don’t know, they also have to compete on game show for $10,000. Can they handle being under pressure?
The first couple is cool chick Codi Lane and hunky Cody. Does having the same first name mean they have an advantage and an instant connection? I am not exactly sure who she had a better connection with, her blind date or the host. Will that work against them?
Then there is Mike and Natasha who are too adorakable for words. I don’t know if the producers knew it when they set them up, but they are made a match made in heaven. This couple is so perfect together; you know they are eventually going to get married. Will they have a $10,000 head start thanks to the game show? Will they ask host Ben Gleib to marry them?
But like I said, this is a game show and it is not only about finding love. That is a just a bonus for tonight’s themed episode. Last week, they were Undateable and this week they are dateable.
Back to the game show, I love the way it makes you think. They show you a picture and ask you question about it. The answer seems obvious, but most of the time it isn’t. It is a trick on words and images, and you have to use your noggin to get the correct answer. You feel so smart when you get one right and feel like an idiot when you get it wrong. Thus, the name Idiotest.
Even though, you should feel like an idiot, you still find yourself loving every minute of this game show. Especially, when they throw some loving into it like they do tonight. You don’t want miss love happening right before your eyes, do you?
Like all game shows there is host, and Ben Gleib is perfect for Idiotest. Tonight there is a great moment when he finds out that Natasha has a great laugh. He asks to hear it and she tells the comedian to make her laugh. Even he is feeling the pressure tonight, how will he stand up to that challenge? All I will say is that he’s taking it back old school and that will make you laugh with them. Especially when you hear her really adorable chuckle.
Make sure to tune in for tonight’s Idiotest that is as joyful as pizza and unicorns.
While most bands break Guinness World Records with the sales of their songs, albums and/or concerts and/or how long their music stays on the charts, Backstreet Boys broke one completely unrelated to their tunes.
The Boy Band is on a cruise right now with thousands of their fans from all over the World and that worked to their advantage. They were able to clinch the World Record for Most Nationalities in a Jacuzzi. How many? 30 to be exact and they were from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Germany, Guatemala, Netherlands, Hungary, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Philippines, USA, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Cuba. In order to beat the previous record, the participants had to show their passports and stay in the hot tub for at least 5 minutes. I am sure those women had a hard time doing that. Not!
Seriously, if you are going to be in the Guinness Book of World Records, you might as well have fun doing it. Looks like they all had a blast.
But not a blast from the past because it wasn’t a Hot Tub Time Machine. Sorry, I had to!
BTW this not their only record in the book. They also hold the title for Best-Selling Album in the USA by a Boy Band. Take that, Take That and *NSYNC!

Missing from the Fall is Scandal, and you can thank Kerry Washington’s baby for that. Well at least partially. The must-see Shonda Thursday is dead for the Fall, but could be back in the midseason. Therefore, you Shondaholics can breath a little easier.
I am hoping that fans of The Middle will find it on Tuesday. I get why they did it, but it has been a Wednesday staple since it started. I also hope that The Goldbergs can launch Wednesdays, which I am sure it will be able to do.
Seriously, I am happy that comedies are coming back because we all need to laugh a lot more.

While filming in the middle of the night with The Rock, the two of them had some fun when the big cameras weren’t rolling. She admitted that, “Evil never looked so good.” Is anyone going to debate her? I don’t think it ever looked so beautiful. Heck, I want to be evil now if that is what it looks like.
