Even though it has been over 35 years since Good Times has produced an original episode, it is still as current and fresh now as it was then. In fact, it is airing in syndication on several different networks because it is still just as popular.
Having said all of that, it makes sense that the original cast wants to do a reunion movie and their asking their fans to help make it happen with a Kickstarter campaign.
If you want to see The Evans Family, James (John Amos), JJ (Jimmie Walker), Thelma (Bern Nadette Stanis), Michael (Ralph Carter), their next door neighbor Willona (Ja’net Dubois) and their annoying handy Bookman (Johnny Brown) together again, then you have just a few days left to donate to their campaign. The more you give, the more you get. But we would all get a huge prize in the end and that would be seeing them all together again, reprising their most iconic beloved roles.
No word if they asked Penny to join them. Whether Janet Jackson can do it or not, she should give them the rest of them money to make our and their dream a reality. It is just pennies for Penny, right?
If you want this to happen as much as I do, then donate to their Kickstarter campaign ASAP.
Tonight at 8p on ABC, it is time for the one hour season finale of The Muppets. Miss Piggy breaks her leg singing Single Ladies, and needs to surgery immediately to correct the problem. When the network brass say that they will do the show without her, Kermit convinces them to do it from the hospital. When the show is over and as she’s being rolled into the operating room, Kermit realizes his true feelings for Miss Piggy and declares that he loves her. And that is where the first episode ends.
Is this declaration too little, too late? We will find out on May, but as of now I say yes. Although, tonight’s first episode was one of the better ones during the show’s first season.

Then at 10p over on FX, it is time for the lawyers to debate about Mark Furhman (Steven Pasquale) taking the stand on American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson.
Chris Darden (Sterling K. Brown) and Johnnie Cochran (Courtney B. Vance) battle it out over the N-word inside and outside of the courtroom. Their interactions are so intense, powerful and emotional, I would be surprised if Brown and Vance are not nominated for an Emmy for their performances on tonight’s episode alone. There is one line that is perfection tonight, and you will know what it is when it is said. You will press pause and then rewind to be like oh hell no!
American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson has been excellent so far and tonight’s episode is by far the best!
A Golden Retriever’s teeth were so bad that he had to get braces. The six month old was not able to eat or play with his toys, and this should fix that problem so he can be a happy and healthy puppy. Harborfront Hospital for Animals‘ Dr Moore is known as a Doggie Dentist, so he gave Wesley a metal mouth to correct the problem. While I had to wear those things for 2 years, the pooch had them put on February 19th, and he is expected to get them off sometime this week according to ABC News. Everything is shorter in dog years. Not only that, canines seem to like them better than us because look at the smile on his face. I don’t think I ever smiled when I had them on. Did you?
But back to Wesley, if he is this arfdorable with braces, I can’t wait to see what he looks like without them. All the bitches will be going crazy for the stud!
For the first time in almost 10 years, Loni Anderson is returning to television. The last time we saw her on the small screen, she was playing Tori Spelling’s mom on So NoTorious. Now she will be playing Bonnie’s mom on Freeform’s Wednesday night comedy Baby Daddy later this year.
As excited as Melissa Peterman is to have the 70 year old knockout play her mother, her husband was even more excited. Peterman revealed that it was the first time that he visited the set in 5 seasons. Can you blame him? Anderson looks just like she did when she played Jennifer on WKRP in Cincinnati over 35 years ago. She never ages!
BTW I hope Baby Daddy is just the start of Anderson’s acting comeback because Hollywood has been missing her.
Have you ever seen Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus in the same place? I haven’t and now we might know why. Looking at this half and half photo that she or should I say he posted, they look like they are the same person. Even more so than Michael and Janet Jackson.
Are they? Until we see them in the same place together, we have to assume that they are.
