Ruth Wilson and Stephen Colbert’s non-orgasmic orgasmic faces!
October 4th, 2015 under Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: 1 ]

Ruth Wilson insisted that the actresses on The Affair aren’t the only ones who show their orgasmic faces. On Friday, when she was on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert asked her about that. Then he suggested that they both show what their faces look like when they orgasm. Only problem is, you can’t an orgasmic face on CBS. He found a way around it. Instead of showing that, he used different scenarios that kind of cause the same look.
So watch as the two of them do their best non-orgasmic orgasmic faces. Then after you watch, tell me if you think if that Mrs Colbert is or is not a lucky woman to see that whenever she has sex with the CBS late night host.

Chelsea Handler is detoxing. One of the things she is doing for it, is getting her colon cleansed. But when I saw this photo of her smiling in front of the word colon, all I could think is that she finally got that stick out of her a$$. I mean, when was the last time you saw her look that happy?

The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story is OMGood!
October 3rd, 2015 under Beverly Hills 90210 / Melrose Place, Lifetime, Shannen Doherty. [ Comments: none ]

Let’s be real, Lifetime’s Unauthorized Stories for the most part are really bad. Strangely enough, they finally got one right. The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story is pretty entertaining, so you should check it out at 8p tonight.
The telemovie starts out with the network pitching the show to Aaron Spelling (Dan Castellaneta) and him saying no. That is until his daughter Tori (Abby Ross) convinces him to do it. Now it is time to cast to lead roles, and Tori again helps him with that when she suggests he hires Shannen Doherty (Samantha Munro) and Jason Priestley (Max Lloyd-Jones ). Tori auditions for Kelly, but the network wants Jennie Garth (Abbie Cobb), so she gets Donna. Somehow Ian Ziering (David Lennon), Gabrielle Carteris (Michele Goyns) and Brian Austin Green (Ross Linton) are also cast on the show.
Now it is time to the shoot the pilot and they share the studio with porn stars. Did you know that? After the pilot is shot and they watch it, they think the show will never get picked up. As we know it did, but initially it bombed.
Darren Star (Adam Korson) and Aaron think the show is missing something and that something is Luke Perry (Jesy McKinney). But even he couldn’t save the show from poor ratings. That is until something happens that helps it become the hit that became. What, you will have to tune in to find out.
After the show is a hit, it is the I hate Shannen show. The movie ends with her firing and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen’s (Alyssa Lynch) hiring. Lynch also played her in Lifetime’s Saved By the Bell movie.
Even though the telemovie only covers the first four seasons, it is just enough. I don’t know how to explain how they got it right, but when you see it, you will see how they did.
I mean, the only actors who look like the people they are playing are Munro and Cobb, but you quickly forget that because the story is interesting enough to keep you entertained.

Dr Ken tickles the funny bone!
October 2nd, 2015 under Ken Jeong. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8:30p, Ken Jeong goes from being a doctor who became an actor to an actor playing a doctor on ABC’s Dr Ken.
You know how they say, don’t judge a show by its pilot? Well, Dr Ken is the perfect example of that. When I watched the pilot the first two times, I didn’t like. Then ABC posted the third episode and I said let me see if it got better. It does. The pilot tries too hard and you can feel that with the jokes. But now that they have been picked up, they found their groove. That makes me happy because I like Jeong and want to see his sitcom succeed.
Dr Ken is one of the top General Practitioners in the San Fernando Valley, but he tops the list of worst bed side manners. He makes fun of his patients to their faces. For example, when a patient comes in diagnosing himself with a hemorrhoid from the internet, Dr Ken tells him he needs to get a colonoscopy and calls him a Web MD-bag when he refuses to get one. That is just one example of how horribly he treats his patients who he has no patience for.
That is his day job, his night one is being a loving husband and father to a teenage daughter and pre-teen son. His wife, Allison (Suzy Nakamura), is a psychotherapist, and she tries to keep her husband sane. That is easier said than done. Like tonight when his daughter Molly (Krista Marie Yu) takes her driver’s test and passes. He doesn’t want her having the freedom that comes with it. Then there is his son Dave (Albert Tsai) who wants to a do a mime act for his school’s talent show and Dr Ken tells him how lame it is. Which it is, let’s be honest. And to be honest, the show needs to focus a lot more on the kids in future episodes because their comedic timing is as perfect at their TV parents.
Like I said, Dr Ken’s pilot is weak, but with some help from a script doctor it bounces back really fast. So don’t give up on it after tonight, give it another shot because it is addictive. It is the prescription we all need for a Friday night after a long work week.

Chasing Life is dead
October 2nd, 2015 under Italia Ricci and Robbie Amell. [ Comments: none ]

On Monday night, Chasing Life ended its season with April ready to die in Rome and today ABC Family killed off their most important show.
For some reason, the network decided to cancel the show about cancer after 2 seasons. Why, I don’t know? Can someone give me a reason?
Not only did Chasing Life deal with a person living with cancer, it helped the viewers of the show know how to deal, if they Gd forbid, they know someone who has cancer. I know it helped me get through my friend’s death, who died of Leukemia just months before Chasing Life debuted.
It was a show unlike any other. It had a message and it was helping people. And they just discard it, for what? Tell me.
Even though, that network cancelled it, the Executive Producer is not ready to pull the plug. Aaron Kaplan Tweeted, “Cancer didn’t take April Carver from us @abcfamily did, only you can save her @italiaricci #savechasinglife.” So let’s hope a another channel, who will really appreciate it, will give this show a third season and a second life.
I am not ready to bury this show, are you?
