The Muppets gets 3 more episodes
October 29th, 2015 under Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

The good news is that ABC asked The Muppets for 3 more episodes, the bad news is that they only asked The Muppets for 3 more episodes. While they are saying this is a full season, I don’t think it is. It is 6 episodes short of a typical full season, so I would just say it is just additional episodes.
Is the news a surprise? Not really, since the adult version didn’t really connect with viewers who were expecting The Muppets they loved. Even I have had problems loving the show. I don’t have a problem with a more mature version of the beloved kids show, but they took away why we love them. They just made them miserable people who hate each other and have stupid problems. There is nothing to love about them. Miss Piggy is a bitch, Kermit is a whiny wimp, Fozzie is depressing and so on. Hopefully with the remaining episodes that they have, they will make the characters more lovable. Make them more like The Muppets we knew and less bitter.
What do they have to be bitter about? And what does Bill Prady have to be so bitter about? He has the #1 sitcom on television and his dream show, his shows should reflect that. Instead both The Big Bang Theory and this show have become comedies full of bitterness. Comedy is supposed to be funny not depressing. That’s what dramas are for.
One last note, now that it looks like that The Muppets won’t be back for season 2, let’s get Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog back together again. That is the biggest reason why the show failed. You can’t break up one of America’s favorite couples and expect to succeed. Right?
What do you think of the new Muppets?

Sleepy Hollow rides into Bones tonight and heads will roll!
October 29th, 2015 under Bones, Fox. [ Comments: none ]

When Fox announced that Bones and Sleepy Hollow were going to do a crossover episode, I was so like whaaaaaat? Then I watched the 2 hour event and I was surprised how brilliantly it worked.
Bones (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) are called to investigate a body found at an abandoned church. While they are looking at her remains, they discover an iron coffin with a headless Red Coat soldier in it. Who is this mystery Revolutionary war victim? Mills (Nicole Beharie) and Crane (Tom Mison) travel down to DC to help identify him. The bones don’t lie it is someone Crane knows, just not who they thought it was.
Now, the four of them are going to try to solve the modern day murder and why she was left near Crane’s old friend. Ichabod wants to bring the bones back to Sleepy Hollow, but Bones doesn’t want to let him have them. When he discovers evidence that might prove the bones are his, he might have revealed his true identity. Will the Jeffersonian find out the truth about him?
Once the murder in DC is solved, the crossover moves to Sleepy Hollow. Crane brings the bones back with him and they come alive when they are home. The Red Coat needs to be stopped before he continues the killing spree he started almost 250 years ago. Will they be able kill the undead soldier?
While both shows did a great job with the two hour event, the Bones hour is so much better. I hope that the Sleepy Hollow writers watch Bones and see how they can improve the show and bring some of humor back to it. The conversions between Bones and Crane will remind you what the Sleepy Hollow has been missing since the first season.

Stephen Colberts asks Donald Trump to donate $1 million
October 29th, 2015 under Donald Trump, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

The other day Donald Trump whined to Matt Lauer about what a tough life he had. He actually had to take a small loan from his father for $1 million when he started out. That’s right, to him a $1,000,000 is a small amount.
Stephen Colbert wants to see just how small of an amount of money that is to him, so The Late Show host asked him to donate that amount to a charity that is close to the CBS late night host’s heart. The Presidential candidate asked CNN to donate money to a charity of his choice, why can’t Colbert ask The Donald to donate to The Harlem Children’s Zone. Let’s see if he will do it.
I mean we know he will spend sh!tloads of money on himself to run for President, why can’t he spend his chump change to help someone else. A lot of someone elses. That will truly help to make America Great Again.
Do you think he will do it?

Are the women of The View in costume?
October 29th, 2015 under The View. [ Comments: none ]

The View is going to have their annual Halloween episode tomorrow and the women dressed up as some of the Disney Villainesses. Although, I am not sure if they are really in costume up because they always look that way. Well, maybe they are dressed nicer than they normally do.
