Bones autopsies its last body tonight

Tonight at 9p after 12 seasons and 246 episodes, Bones says goodbye on Fox. While saying goodbye is never easy, the finale is very satisfying for its fans like me that have been there since episode 1.

Tonight’s episode picks up exactly where last week’s episode ended and we find out what happened to the Jeffersonian and Bones (Emily Deschanel), Booth 3(David Boreanaz), Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins (T. J. Thyne) after the explosion. They survived the bomb blast, but what are the lasting effects on them? For one thing, Brennan suffered a brain injury and it is effecting her ability to process information.

Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Aubrey (John Boyd) are outside the Jeffersonian doing everything they can to get in and save their friends. Once they are all reunited, they go after the bomber. Their lives are at risk because he means business, and they will do anything to stop him, but at what cost. They will have one last showdown, but who will survive to the credits.

Before the show signs off we will find out what happens to everyone and where they will go next. There are a lot of sweet surprises which makes this send off bittersweet.

Like I said it is sad to see Bones go, but we will always have these 246 episodes. And who knows maybe someday it will come back to solve more crimes with disgusting dead bodies. No show has killed off people in a more original and gross way than Bones and I am going to miss that. You never knew how people were going to find the corpses, but you always knew it was going to be unforgettable just like the show.

Thank you for 12 years of great television that made procedurals enjoyable to watch.

It’s time for a wedding on Bones and Chicago Fire holds you hostage

Tonight at 9p, it is time for Bones’ second to last ever episode on Fox. What better way to celebrate 12 great seasons than with a wedding. It finally time for Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo (Pej Vahdat) to say I do. The episode goes back and forth in time between the wedding and an event that comes right afterwards.

Even though Cam and Arastoo should be on their honeymoon, they are called back in to Jeffersonian the morning after their nuptials. A body has come in and everything is wrong. Bones (Emily Deschanel) doesn’t know who he is but she knows two men escaped from jail. Is he the man who killed her father and wants to kill her family? Or is the man who escaped with him? They will all work hard to find out who he is and that is only the beginning of their nightmare.

When Cam’s ID goes missing, they realize it was used and it wasn’t by her. What did that thief leave behind in the lab? Something that sets things up for the series finale next week.

Then at 10p on NBC, there is a gang war going on near Chicago Fire and the members seek refuge in the fire station. Well refuge might not be the word because they hold everyone in the fire house hostage. One of the members is shot and they force Stella (Miranda Rae Mayo) to try to save his life. Something that is not easy to do when their guns pointed at your head. Severide (Taylor Kinney) was somewhere else when the hostage takers came in and he was able to call the police. Making things more tense inside when they finally show up to rescue our guys.

Will everyone get alive? Let’s just say one fireman will be shot, one suffers a heart attack and one gets beaten up. All leading to a dramatic ending to this very intense episode that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the beginning until the very end. You don’t want to miss this exciting episode because it is the best one of the season and they have had some really good one.

Bones is back for its end, can Chicago PD save some from Chicago Fire?

Tonight at 9p, Bones is back for its final season and it picks up where it left off in the season finale.
Bones (Emily Deschanel) has been kidnapped by Zack (Eric Millegan) and we find out why he did it. Booth (David Boreanaz) and the team will do anything and everything to get back. Just when they do, they will learn his motives. But will it be enough to convince them to save him. There will be a lot of twists and turns throughout the episode that just when you think you figured it out, you didn’t. Which is why I will be sad to see this show go.
In the coming weeks they visit an Assisted Living home with guests stars Ed Asner, Hal Holbrook and June Squibb. It’s humor that makes this drama so special.

Also at 9p but over on NBC, it is time for a Chicago Fire and Chicago PD crossover. Severide (Taylor Kinney) is set to be bone marrow donor. Then when she is too weak to get it, it sends him into a downward spiral. He goes to a bar, gets drunk and takes his car for a drive.
Hours after he doesn’t show up for a work, his smashed up car is discovered at a hit and run. A woman and her 10 year old are injured and it doesn’t look like the latter will survive.
Cops rush to Severide’s house to find out what happened. He has a bump on his head and doesn’t remember anything. They have no choice but to take him in.
Since he doesn’t remember anything, they will do all in the power to prove his innocence. But what if he is guilty? No matter what they do, it looks like Severide did it. Now he could face murder charges because the 10 year old child passed away.
There is nothing his brothers can do, but watch him be sent off to jail. Is that it for him? You will just have to tune in to find out on this episode will have you on the edge of the seat from the beginning until the end.

Did David Boreanaz just reveal what happens in the Bones’ series finale?
December 6th, 2016 under Bones, David Boreanaz. [ Comments: none ]

As we know Bones is ending this season on Fox. Looking at these photos that David Boreanaz just posted, it appears that the show is going out with a bang, literally. Behind his bloodied Selfie is twisted metal all around him. Is that twisted metal the Jeffersonian? If it is, then there is no going back.
All we know is that he said this with the solemn shot of him looking down on the wreckage, “At the helm. Gonna be a Great goodbye to all the fans who have supported us for 12 seasons!”
We also know that we need to start watching their final episodes beginning on January 3rd to find out how this show ends. Hopefully it will end better than Angel did? Did they win or lost that epic final battle? Oh, I get it now.
