Who’s the bigger diva in this photo Babs or Lady Gaga?
August 23rd, 2015 under Barbra Streisand, Keanu Reeves, Lady Gaga. [ Comments: none ]

Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga, two of the biggest female singers of our lifetime, got together yesterday and all I could think of is who is the bigger diva in their photo. I have to say it is Mother Monster because when was the last time Babs did anything? The last thing I remember her doing what that GA movie with Seth Rogen. That movie was beyond painful. Even worse than Little Fockers and that says a lot.
Check back with me in a few months because after American Horror Story: Hotel, I might say it is a tie.

UPDATE: Barbra shared a photo of her night with Gaga and friends, and her husband James Brolin is the most normal person in it. The photo also includes Ryan Murphy and his AHS: Hotel star along with his American Crime Story star John Tavolta and his wife Kelly Preston. Why they were all hanging out together, we don’t know. We just have to hope it is because she is going to star in one of Murphy’s many shows. Brolin isn’t available because he’s busy working on the painfully unfunny comedy Life in Pieces on CBS.

The Foo Fighters fight the WBC by Rickrolling them!
August 23rd, 2015 under Foo Fighters, Rick Astley. [ Comments: none ]

This has been the summer of Foo Fighters. It started it off with them playing David Letterman’s final Late Show. Then while performing in Sweden Dave Grohl broke his leg during and kept on rocking. Next when 1,000 Italian fans got together and played Learn to Fly to convince the band to play Cesena; not only did they watch it, they agreed to play there.
Finally, yesterday when the dumbest group of people protested their show in Kansas City, they got in a truck and blasted Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up. It’s the perfect FU to a group of a schmucks who need to be FUed more often. Although knowing them, they probably like that song. Shhh, so do I.
Now back to Foo Fighters, I don’t know what they will do next, and I can’t wait to find out.

Is Charlie Sheen’s idea winning or crappy?
August 22nd, 2015 under Charlie Sheen. [ Comments: none ]

We’ve all peed in the pool and Charlie Sheen is fed up with it. So he put a toilet in his pool and asked people to use it. Will they? Of course not because it is so much easier just to pee in pool. It’s not like anyone will know.

Blunt Talk is crazy, just not crazy enough!
August 22nd, 2015 under Sir Patrick Stewart/Sir Ian McKellen, Starz!. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miYYipdtLs4
When I heard that the lovable Sir Patrick Stewart was going to play an television anchor who is on the verge of losing it, I got excited for Blunt Talk that debuts at 9p on Starz tonight. Then I saw the first two episodes, and I was disappointed.
Walter Blunt is the anchor of a nightly news show and his ratings are declining. He’s afraid that they are going to fire him, so he is drinking more than usual. One night when he assistant Harry is sleeping in the backseat, he has too much to drink. He goes for a drive picks up a prostitute and gets caught by the police. But he doesn’t just get arrested, he causes an over the top scene that gets caught by cameras. Now everyone knows about the arrest and he needs to save his job.
Now that would be fun if they threw caution to the wind, but they didn’t. They hold back too much and what could’ve been a wild and crazy show, is just there. It’s like going out with your friends for a night you will never forget and having one glass of wine. Boring, right? This show is on Starz and it should the wildest show on TV, and not something that should be broadcast. Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll gets it right on FX, and this show gets it wrong. So if you have nothing else to watch tonight, then I say watch this. But sadly, you can skip it and you won’t be missing anything. Which is a shame because Sir Patrick Stewart deserves so much more than this.
