Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre kiss and made up
April 18th, 2023 under Charlie Sheen, Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

Remember when Charlie Sheen and EP Chuck Lorre worked together on Two and a Half Men? And then, the actor was fired because he was reportedly struggling with drugs and alcohol, along with having a public meltdown and going off on his boss.

Well, that boss is a masochist because Deadline is reporting that Sheen and Lorre are going to be working together again.

Lorre has a comedy called How To Be a Bookie coming to Max, and he hired Sheen for a recurring role. The show is described as a veteran bookie (Sebastian Maniscalco) struggles to survive the impending legalization of sports gambling, increasingly unstable clients, family, co-workers, and a lifestyle that bounces him around every corner of Los Angeles high and low.

We don’t know what Sheen will be doing on the series, but I am hoping he is one of the unstable clients. He won’t even have to act if that is the case. Maybe that is why Lorre opted to work with Sheen again.

Who knows, maybe Lorre will also want to work with some of his other troublesome stars like Roseanne Barr, Brett Butler, and/or Cybill Shepherd on Bookie? So yeah, he is a masochist, but is he that much of one?

Is Charlie Sheen working on a new show with the people from Entourage?
December 31st, 2021 under Charlie Sheen. [ Comments: none ]

Charlie Sheen posted a photo of a script cover and wrote, “2022 gonna be a barn burner!”

So is he doing a new show with Doug Ellin, who produced Entourage? “The Script is Done,” Ellin wrote. “We have the crew. We have 85 percent of our cast, with some very cool surprises, waiting in the wings. Friendship, family, and loyalty (with big laughs) will be at the center of this, and we are pumped. 2022 is going to be a year of comebacks. Let’s all do it together! Victory!”

Some of those other cast members might be Kevin Dillion and Kevin Connolly, who Sheen tagged on his Instagram.

Now, it could be a show, or it could be a podcast because Ellin produces one called Vicory the Podcast. I can’t wait to see what it turns out to be because it will be interesting, whatever it is.

Do you think Charlie Sheen is nuts?
January 29th, 2019 under Ads, Charlie Sheen. [ Comments: none ]

I think it is safe to say that a lot of people think Charlie Sheen is nuts. We are not the only ones, so does the advertising company behind Planters peanuts because they asked him to be in their Super Bowl commercial that is really nutty. The actor agreed to do it even though he only has one line in the ad. But what a line it is. He declares, “And people think I’m nuts.” He is but not as nuts as Mr. Peanut.

Charlie Sheen disses his Platoon co-star Johnny Depp

Brothers In Arms is working on an unauthorized documentary about Platoon. They shared a little tidbit they got from one of the stars from the 1986 movie. They wrote, “Johnny Depp was always just one of the guys. He recently told me that around that period was the last time he could walk down the street in peace.”

When his co-star, Charlie Sheen, saw that Tweet, he responded with, “now he just STUMBLES down the street! 😂©😂.” If that is not the pot calling the kettle black, then tell me what it is. Those in glass houses should not throw rocks.

Charlie Sheen pitches a Two and a Half Men revival
May 29th, 2018 under Charlie Sheen, Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: 1 ]

The Roseanne revival was barely even cancelled when Charlie Sheen offered up his two cents. He wrote, “adios Roseanne! good riddance. hashtag NOT Winning. the runway is now clear for OUR reboot. © #CharlieHarperReturns.”

His co-star, Jon Cryer, had one simple question to that notion, “What could possibly go wrong?” I would simply use the words of Elizabeth Barrett Browning and say, “Let me count the ways.”

What makes this so Hollywood is a small world, is the Roseanne revival’s EP is Bruce Helford, who worked on Charlie Sheen’s last sitcom Anger Management. 2.5 Men was created by Chuck Lorre, who wrote for Roseanne the original time around. So it is like Hollywood coming full circle if it were to happen.

When it comes to will Hollywood pick this up? They got rid of one headache today, why would they give themselves another one? Even though I would welcome it.
