David Beckham and James Corden have created a new line of underwear and they will debut the commercial for D & J Briefs on CBS’s The Late Late Show at 12:35a. Thankfully, that shows air in the early hours in the morning because that ad is not safe for the daytime hours or the nighttime one. Who wants to see the soccer star’s golden balls like that before they are in bed about to go into dreamland?
Val Chmerkovskiy and Rumer Willis have been rehearsing all week for Dancing with the Stars performance tonight and Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter shared a behind-the-scenes photo from their rehearsal. The picture is really cool because the pro is holding his partner upside down while she is doing a split. But me being me, all I can see that his nose is in her crotch. I can’t see anything, butt, I mean but, that. Are you having the same problem that I am?
Joe Jonas Instagrammed a photo of himself with a grey curly wig, glasses, a pearl necklace and a old lady’s dress over the weekend. I knew he looked like someone, but I couldn’t figure it out. Then it hit me, he looks like Thelma Harper from Mama’s Family! I wonder if NBC is thinking of bringing back the ’80s sitcom, just like they are Coach, and have him play the lead role. After all he is just a few years younger than Vicki Lawrence when she started playing the beloved role.
I don’t know about you, but I would totally watch.
Comedy Central has yet to make it official, but The New York Times is reporting that Trevor Noah will replace Jon Stewart as the host of The Daily Show later this year.
Are you going, “Who is he?” The South African comedian made his debut on the show back in December. Since then he has made only 2 more appearances. You might say, that Comedy Central is taking a huge risk by hiring an unknown to take the job. Actually, you can totally say it. You know, it is going to piss off the veterans who have worked on the show for years. I am sure even Larry Wilmore is going, WTF? He gets the second hour and this newbie gets the prime show. Can’t blame him if he was pissed about it.
While his newness can be an issue for fans, I think the bigger problem is going to come as soon as he starts. A big emphasis of The Daily Show is American Politics. That means he is going to have to start learning everything he can in the next few months or he will be screwed when he starts because, at that time, we are a year away from picking a new President of the United States. I’ve lived here my whole life, and I still have no clue what goes on during the election. So he has work cut out for him.
And so does Comedy Central. Hopefully they will do a better job than CBS did with James Corden when it comes to getting the word out about the virtually unknown host.
What do you think of the pick?
