February 23rd, 2015 under Before They Were Famous, Billy Eichner, Saturday Night Live. [ Comments: none ]

Before Billy Eichner was screaming at strangers in Billy on the Street, he needed to scream to get his voice heard over his 74 siblings on Saturday Night Live. How cute was the 13 year old in that 1992 sketch?

They Might Be Giants have a giant gift for their fans!
February 23rd, 2015 under Music, They Might Be Giants. [ Comments: none ]

If you love They Might Be Giants as much as I do, then you are going to love the fact that they are giving away an album for free on their site. Not just any record, but a live version of Flood to honor its 25th anniversary.
Last year, when the Johns were touring Australia, they were so overwhelmed by the love they were getting from the land Down Under that they decided to do something special for them. To make one of their sold out shows ever more memorable for their fans, they told Yahoo! Music that they played Flood in its entirety during one of them. The band recorded their performances on the tour and from those recording we get a free album.
Almost all of the songs sound just like did a quarter of a century ago, but some of them have a new sound. The opening to Istanbul (Not Constantinople) will amaze you. Birdhouse In Your Soul will make you feel like you are at the show. That is, if you close your eyes and start Whistling in the Dark.
This album is a must have for fans of music and TMBG.
I will admit, I am promoting this digital download, even after one of the Johns called me strange, many many moons ago. I can’t remember what I said to get that response, but it still hurts. Listening to live version of Flood makes it a little better, just a little bit.

Jared Leto is still photobombing!
February 23rd, 2015 under Jared Leto. [ Comments: none ]

During the Oscars last year, Jared Leto was as known for winning his Oscar as he was for photobombing celebrities during Hollywood’s Biggest Night. Yesterday, the Oscar winner was just a presenter, but that didn’t stop him from photobombing other actors. Case in point, here he is working his magic behind one of his favorite actors Michael Keaton. Not only is his face perfect, but the powder blue Tux is like the icing on a cake.
Now that was the happy part of the post, I have some sad news to share with you about Jared Leto. According to what he told Entertainment Tonight yesterday, he is done with the Jesus look. He said, “This is the last night you’ll see me with long hair.” Then he added, “This is my going away party for my hair.” Goodbye hair, goodbye.

The Night Shift is back on duty tonight!
February 23rd, 2015 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTieLuJ80qY
The Night Shift was too hot for summer, so NBC moved it to the winter. Tonight at 10p the medical drama starts to heats things up.
The episode starts off a few months after the season finale. Topher (Ken Leung) has recovered from being shot and is back at work. TC (Eoin Macken) is still on suspension, but you can’t keep him down. Jordan (Jill Flint) is still trying to get everyone’s respect after the shooting, which is easier said then done. Besides that, TC and her are giving their relationship another shot. That is causing a lot of tension between her and Dr. Scott Clemmens (Scott Wolf), he is not taking their breakup very well. Finally, Ragosa (Freddy Rodriguez) is back from the surgery he got to remove the cancerous tumor in his brain and he is not the same man he used to be.
Besides all of that, there are still a lot of sick and injured people coming into the ER. They have to put all of that aside to help all of those patients.
Can they handle all of that stress? By the end of the episode someone is going to quit. Think you know who? You don’t, so you are going to have to find out.

Woman caught doing a Pee Wee Herman at Fifty Shades of Grey!
February 23rd, 2015 under Fifty Shades, Pee Wee Herman. [ Comments: none ]

A woman in Mexico left a screening of Fifty Shades of Grey in handcuffs, and it wasn’t the way she wanted to be placed in them. Let’s just say she was really excited to see the movie, so much so she needed to relieve some of that excitement as she watched it. Translation, it was a pleasure for her to watch the film, so she pleasured herself.
As Pee Wee Herman and Fred Willard can tell you, that is something you can’t do in a movie theater. That is exactly why some of the theater goers called the police on the 33 year unmarried woman according to La Verdad.
Next time she should just stay at home, read the book and watch some p0rn. It will be a lot more pleasurable and cheaper.
BTW Fifty Shades of Grey will give RedBox a whole new meaning when its released on home video. If you rent it, I would make sure to thoroughly clean it with antibacterial soap before you watch it. You don’t know what the person who saw it before you did with the DVD.
