Before Keith Urban was a judge on American Idol critiquing the singers, he was a competitor on New Faces getting critiqued roughly. How amazing was the 16 year old back in 1983 singing Air Supply’s All Out of Love?

Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller is going to judge on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars |
May 1st, 2014 under Dance Moms, Dancing with the Stars, Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

Dancing with the Stars has been using guest judges, like Donny Osmond and Julianne Hough, on the ABC show this season and on Monday they are hitting a big fat low. That’s because Dance Moms screaming dance teacher, Abby Lee Miller, is going to be sitting along side Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman.
Hopefully they can find a table big enough to fit her huge ego. Something I am sure that will shrink as the episode goes on because two of the pros, Mark Ballas and Derek Hough, have already spoken out negatively against, what they say is, her abusive teaching style. I am sure they are not going to take her seriously and will bite her head off like she allegedly tried to bite Kelly’s finger off last year, if she says the wrong thing to her. I am also sure that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will also give her grief if she says some thing nasty to him. This is not Lifetime, so they are not going to kiss her a$$.
I am going to tune in just to watch her eat some humble pie, unlike, well you know where I am going…
Now while I know who she is, I am sure most of the DWTS viewers do not. I don’t think they are going to like her aggressive ways and loud raspy voice. I mean, she is the first unknown to sit at the judges table since the show started and with all the horrible changes they have made this season, the loyal viewers might say enough is enough.
Seriously, why are they going with her? There are so many other former-DWTS contenders who would love the opportunity that Donny Osmond had. I even read a rumor that his sister, Marie wanted to be a guest judge.
Oh well, it is things like this that make me so happy I gave up this show a few seasons ago. It also makes me feel really embarrassed to admit that I still watch Dance Moms. I wish I could quit that show too. Please help me!

Do Patricia Heaton and Sarah Drew have something to tell us? |

Patricia Heaton was seen grabbing her co-star Sarah Drew’s a$$ at the premiere of their movie, Mom’s Night Out; and I have to wonder if they have something to tell us. Nope, it was just two moms out having some fun away from their kids for the night. But for a second it was fun to think that Drew’s middle was the grey’s anatomy that Heaton has been desiring!
BTW their movie that looks like it will be laugh riot comes out next Friday, so mark your calendars.

May the 4th be with TBBT, Surviving Jack wrestles with the parent/kid dynamic |
May 1st, 2014 under Bill Lawrence, Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

It’s May 4th on The Big Bang Theory at 8p tonight on CBS and the force is with this episode. When they gang gets some bad news, they all handle it differently. Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) go to Professor Proton’s (Bob Newhart) funeral, and they get so close at it that a certain question gets asked again. Meanwhile, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) stays home to celebrate Star Wars Day, and the late Professor Proton comes to him to give him advice. He is there to share some important insight with Sheldon that will make him more human, but will he listen? Let’s just there is an extremely tender moment between the roommates you don’t want to miss.
Tonight’s touching episode is the best one of the season, and since it’s almost over you don’t want to miss it.
Then at 9:30p change the dial over to Fox to watch another hilarious episode of Surviving Jack.
Rachel (Claudia Lee) tells her dad, Jack (Chris Meloni) that she wants to join the wrestling team, but the coach (Neil Flynn) won’t let on because she is a girl. He thinks she is trying to pull something over on him, so he asks the coach if his daughter is telling the truth. He tells him that she is, and he will let her on the team if he beats him at wrestling. Of course, Jack wins and now his daughter is on the team. Which makes him happy until he finds out, she was pulling something over on him. He doesn’t like to be played by his daughter, so he gets revenge on her.
While they are having a father/daughter moment, Joanne (Rachael Harris) and Frankie (Connor Buckley) are having a mother/son one. It is time for the annual weekend getaway which he is all excited about. That is until he finds out that some of the popular guys from his school are staying at the same hotel and his mom embarrasses him. Now their once perfect relationship isn’t as perfect and she doesn’t know how to win her son back.
So now both parents are dealing with issues with their kids, and want things to go back to the way that were. Will they be able to get their kids back or have they lost them forever?
If you’ve be watching this delightful family sitcom, then you do they do in a way that brings a smile to your face because as rough as they are in the outside, they are as sweet on the inside. It the warmth of this family’s relationship that makes Surviving Jack so enjoyable and a must watch.
Did I mention that Frankie’s friends, Mikey (Tyler Foden) and George (Kevin Hernandez) walk in on Jack and Joanne doing it? Jack tells them that if they ever enter the house again uninvited, he will shave their eyebrows off? Do they heed his warning or will they go eyebrowless? You have to tune and you know you want to find out.

Ellen Degeneres’ prom photo is Dyn-o-mite! |

Back in the mid-’70s, Ellen DeGeneres put on her Boogie Shoes to go the prom with a boy.
I have to say, Man, that plaid dress you’d see on Gloria Stivic and Farah Fawcett’s hair on her is so far out. Then to top it off her groovy date looks like John Travolta did on Welcome Back, Kotter.
Can you dig it? Because to me, I have to quote K.C. and the Sunshine Band and say “That’s the way I like it, uh-huh uh-huh. I like it!”
