Mel Brooks is a crook! |

Nathan Lane was on Jimmy Kimmel Live and he told the ABC late night host some stories about Mel Brooks. Back when the legendary funny man was working on Sid Caesar’s shows, he was more outrageous than he is now. One day Brooks went out with sketch writer Howard Morris, to eat lunch on a boat in Central Park. As they were eating their lunch, Mel took out a (fake) gun and told his co-worker to give him his wallet and watch. Morris did as Brooks said, and Mel paddled away telling Howard not to tell anyone. Three weeks went by and Brooks returned everything back to him and said he did it because he wanted to see if he could rob the nice guy. The two made up and then a week later after the two men were eating lunch, Brooks held up his buddy again in a dark alley.
Who knew besides stealing our hearts with all of his brilliant humor, Mel will also steal anything and everything you have. So if you ever run into him, make sure you have some protection. And I am not talking about the chastity belt that they used in Space Balls.
BTW since Jimmy Kimmel Live no longer posts the full interviews, you missed where Lane said that Brooks told him he is 15-20% gay! I love that line for some reason.

See the hottest sex that sends a couple to the ER tonight! |
May 17th, 2014 under Sex Sent Me to the ER. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p, it is time for another episode of Sex Sent Me to the ER on TLC and it is on fire. That’s because when a couple are doing it at July 4th bonfire, the man gets so into the love making that he doesn’t realize his foot is in the fire. Not wanting to his lover what is happening, he leaves her on the beach and begs his friend to take him to the ER. It is there he finds out his burn is really bad. But the pain might be no where as bad as when he finds out the love of his life is mad that he just left there. Will she forgive him?
Another couple, who are in college, spend the day at her mother’s house with her mom, but they want some alone time. So they tell her they are going for the ice cream and then look for a place to have sex. They find a rural area to do it and then all of a sudden, she feels a pain in her foot. Eventually her boyfriend looks down and sees that she is bleeding. They put their sex on hold to go to the ER. Once they are there, they find out she was bitten by something, but what and will it kill her? You just have to watch to find out.
Finally a husband and wife come into the ER saying he has an obstruction, but they won’t say what it is. All they can find out is the man is buzzing and the sound is coming from his a$$. What is going on? You just have to tune in to find out.
So tonight’s lesson from Sex Sent Me to the ER, is fire and sex don’t go together, don’t have whoopie in nature and finally be careful where you put your vibrating sex toys! And because of all of that, I don’t think I will be having sex tonight. Instead I will be watching Sex Sent Me to the ER, it is a lot safer!

WTF someone already making a movie about Malaysia Airlines Flight 370? |

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 went missing just over 2 months ago and it has yet to be found. And even though we don’t know what happened to it yet, that isn’t stopping Rupesh Paul from asking people at Cannes to finance his movie about it. He even went as far as shooting a sizzle reel to get investors interested his project, The Vanishing Act.
According to Variety, Paul is asking for $3.5 million to make his film that should take about 35 days to shoot with around 200 actors in it. At this point it is unclear if anyone gave him the money he needs. But I am sure whenever CNN’s Jeff Zucker hears about it, he will take out his checkbook to finance it all. This way his news network can air it whenever there is no news about the real missing plane to fill in the dead air. Not trying to be insensitive with those last two words.
Would you play to see a movie about Flight 370 before the plane is actually found?

Last year, NBC aired a live version of The Sound of Music, and this year they are working on doing live versions of Peter Pan and The Music Man. Well, Jimmy Fallon announced on The Tonight Show that Tariq Trotter and him really want to have a musical of their own on the network. So they gave us a hint of what it could be, and I hope that Bob Greenblatt was watching because I want that happen now. Would you watch?
BTW I have to say that Fallon’s hair looked really good when he took off the beret.

Sesame Street, Chuck and Kumar want you to put down the social media! |
May 16th, 2014 under Harold and Kumar, Sesame Street/Muppets, Zachary Levi. [ Comments: none ]

It is summer time and instead of going outside to appreciate the beautiful weather, we are staying inside to Tweet about it. So Sesame Street wrote a song and had Bert, Zachary Levi and Kal Penn sing it to us, because they want us to stop Facebooking and enjoy A Lovely Sunny Day.
So stop what you are doing, and listen to Chuck sing with that beautiful voice we forgot he has in Tangled. Then when you are done listening to it, make sure to Tweet about, update your Facebook status with it and share it on Instagram. Oh wait, I mean, stop Tweeting, Facebooking and Instagramming and go outside to see the light from the sky and not your computer, phone or iPad!
BTW who else can’t stop singing this song? It’s just like when we couldn’t get the Sesame Street theme out of our heads. And yes the theme of both songs are not lost on me! Sunny days rules, which is probably why I’ve moved to both Miami and Los Angeles!
