Homer Simpson was also part of the Best Selfie Ever
March 4th, 2014 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

We all thought we saw the front of the Best Selfie Ever that was taken at the Oscars and we were wrong. That is because it was revealed today that Homer Simpson was also actually part of it too, but Bradley Cooper kept a good man down and out of the picture. No wonder the Hangover star barely got everyone in, he was too busy kicking Homer down the ground.
As bad as it was for the Simpson patriarch, it was even worse for Bart who was even more hidden than Liza Minnelli in the most ReTweeted Tweet.

BTWF roles: Demi Lovato in Prison Break
March 4th, 2014 under Before They Were Famous, Demi Lovato, Disney Kids. [ Comments: none ]

Before Demi Lovato defended herself from Simon Cowell on The X Factor, she needed to defend herself from T-Bag on Prison Break. How cute was the 13 year old in that 1996 episode?

John Travolta breaks the Frozen ice over Sunday’s f*ck up!
March 4th, 2014 under John Travolta, RENT. [ Comments: none ]

Idina Menzel has gotten more press in the last two days over John Travolta mispronouncing her name at the Oscars than anything she has done in her spectacular career that includes starring in two of Broadway’s biggest hits of the last 25 years, Rent and Wicked, combined. The actress has handled everything with class and has yet to respond to being renamed, Adele Dazeem, by the Hairspray actor.
Now even though the women with such a loud and powerful voice has been quiet, Travolta finally broke his silence. The Grease star told ABC News, “I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought … what would Idina Menzel say, She’d say, Let it go, let it go! Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!”
So are you ready to let it go or will his embarrassing moment remain frozen in time with you? I am ready to let it go, even though I am happy that Menzel is finally getting the recognition she deserves.

Do the Truffle Shuffle cause The Goldbergs take on The Goonies tonight!
March 4th, 2014 under The Goldbergs. [ Comments: none ]

The Goldbergs are finally back with all-new episode tonight at 9p on ABC and you don’t want to miss this episode that is a true treasure.
Adam (Sean Giambrone) like most boys in the ’80s (and since) are obsessed with the movie, The Goonies. He is so into it that he can’t stop watching it. One day, when his dad (Jeff Garlin) assigns his brother, his sister and him to clean the attic, Adam tells his siblings that he will be up to do it after he finishes watching the movie. Barry (Troy Gentile) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) are upset with their little brother, so they come up with a plan to get back at him and it is Goonies related. They create a fake map to a treasure; knowing their little brother will want to find it and they are right. Adam gets his friends together and each one of them will play a different person from the film to help him find the treasure. What is the treasure? Like I am going to tell you, but I will tell you to watch this cute episode that will bring a huge smile to your face several times.
I sincerely forgot how happy this show makes me; but once I watched this episode, I quickly remembered. I’ve said this before and I will say it again, The Goldbergs is the best new sitcom of this century. Sorry to shows like Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and New Girl, you ain’t got nothing on The Goldbergs! Television has been missing a good family sitcom since Everybody Loves Raymond went off the air, and The Goldbergs has filled that much needed void.
To quote Cyndi Lauper’s song from The Goonies to reference The Goldbergs, “It’s good enough for me, Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah.” BTW I am also referencing The Goonies ‘r’ Good Enough because I can’t get it out of my head since I saw the episode.
BTW this is not the first time that the show’s creator, Adam F Goldberg, has taken on The Goonies, he also did it on his sitcom, Breaking In. If you haven’t that delightful episode or the show, you can watch it on Crackle for free. It is worth binge watching whether you have already seen it or this will be your first time. It different than The Goldbergs but just as brilliant and fun.
