It is raining here in LA today and that is both a good thing and a bad thing. The good part is that we desperately need it, the bad part is we just don’t know what to do when water falls from the sky.
So when I saw these two pictures that Shemar Moore Tweeted of him in the rain, I thought it perfectly caught the good and the bad of our wet situation. The Criminal Minds star brought a smile to my face on this gloomy day when he Tweeted this “I can’t sing so I’m jumping in the rain… For no reason… Getting my DORK ON!!!” with the first photo. I think no matter how hard he tries, he will never be one!
BTW you know I would’ve had a bigger smile on my face if he didn’t have an umbrella with him because then his shirt would’ve gotten really wet and been really tight against his perfect ab muscles. Seriously it should be illegal for him to wear a shirt. Don’t you agree?

For some reason Chris Kattan came out of hiding and attended the premiere of Movie 43. The actor was photographed sticking his finger down his throat and I wonder if that is his way of pre-reviewing the movie or telling us where his career has been going/gone. Why do you think he did it?
Since it is National Compliment Day, I will try to say something nice about him. I guess I will say it is nice seeing him walk a red carpet again…especially for any other movie than Corky Romano. That movie was painfully bad and I can’t remember why I actually sat down and watched the whole thing.
Anthony Anderson Tweeted the above picture of Michael Strahan and him, and said “Just finished taping with my brother from another mother on Live with Kelly and Michael!” Looking at the picture, I couldn’t decided who has the bigger gap between their front two teeth. To me it looks like a tie, so I will give it to both of them. And I am glad that neither one of them ever got their teeth fixed because I love them just the way they are.
About a year ago Kristen Bell was on Ellen and she shared a video of herself crying uncontrollably over a sloth coming to her birthday party and today Veronica Mars was on the daytime talk show again. This time Ellen DeGeneres surprised the House of Lies actress with a real live sloth named Lola. Sadly though the very pregnant Bell didn’t shed any tears during their meeting even though she should be very hormonal, but it was still so cute to her react to the Ice Age scene stealer.
And what I know is going to be even more awwwdorable is when she shares a picture of her baby in that sloth outfit that Ellen gave her. Seriously you know she is going to dress her rumored son up in that onesie as much as she can.
For months we have been hearing about the infamous fight between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj on American Idol and yesterday we saw it on the Fox singing competition show. I am sure the producers (Nigel Lythgoe) love a confrontation like that on the show, but to me it takes away from what Idol is all about. It is supposed to be a positive show and that just brought it down to a level it never should’ve been at. It is moments like that that confirm to me why I gave up the show and why I don’t miss it.
I hope for the 16 million people that are still watching Idol that when they go live the judges remember the show is not about them, it is about the contestants. But for some reason, I doubt that is going to happen and they are going to make it all about them.

Finally as a girl from The Bronx, I am glad that we are no longer represented on the panel (like we were with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler) if that is how they are going to be.
