Nathan Fillion was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and the host asked him a question that caused the Firefly star to give him a double take. He asked if him he ever thinks of just switching to Dick? Now before you have a fantasy fulfilled and think the host was propositioning him, he was really asking him if his character has thought about changing his name from Richard Castle to Dick Castle. Even though he meant something else, what we got is something the ABC show would call an “Unintentional Joke of the Day”!!!
BTW I just love how awwdorable Castle was when he heard the question and how he responded to it. I don’t think Kimmel will be asking anymore Dick questions, but I am sure he will continue with the Dick jokes!!!

Taylor Swift is on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and what the 21 year old singer told Ellen showed me that she is so wise beyond her years. The host asked her how she handles the pressures of being a celeb and handling having the paps follow her around. Well the Fearless singer responded to her question by saying, “I think it’s just obnoxious if I complain about anything…I hear people talk about like, oh, the intrusions on my privacy. It’s like there are a million other jobs you could have had.” She is so right. While it is not fun to have your privacy invaded, it is also what they signed up for when they decided to become a star. Good for her for being so mature about it! Hard to believe she is only 21 with an outlook like that.
In one of the strangest developments since the Sheenigans began, Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Hugh Grant wasthisclose to replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. She said it was so close that they were in final negotiations up until last night when the deal fell through because of “creative differences”. She also claimed they were offering him over a $1 million per episode, so I think it definitely wasn’t the money that was holding him back from doing it.
I really hope he reconsiders because I think if he was to take over for Sheen the ratings would go through the roof. I already watch the show, but I am sure it would find a whole bunch of new viewers because who doesn’t love Hugh Grant? C’mon he has to do it, what else does he have going on? Plus he can hire a lot of prostitutes with all that extra cash!!!

Dick Van Dyke was promoting his book My Lucky Life In and Out of Show Business in LA yesterday and two of his co-stars from The Dick Van Dyke Show came out to support him. Rose Marie aka Sally Rogers and Larry Matthews aka Richie Petrie showed they are all still close 45 years after their timeless show ended. I had to share these pictures with you because the 87 year old actress and 55 year old actor look so awwdorable together as they honor the 85 year old Rob Petrie.

Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek were spotted looking very chummy together in Cannes and looking at these pictures I have to wonder if they have something to tell us? Nope it is just the two actors promoting their film Puss In Boots.
BTW I am the only one who is a little bummed that the two of them are already married to other people because they make a cute couple?
