The Legend of Billie Jean Leto
July 13th, 2010 under Jared Leto. [ Comments: 1 ]

Fame Pictures
Yesterday Jared Leto debuted his new look at a Missy Elliott concert and all I could think of is that he looked just like Helen Slater when she starred in The Legend of Billie Jean. Now fair is fair and I should say that he looks like Christian Slater who played her younger brother Binx in the 1985 classic movie, but I am not fair so I am sticking with he totally looks like Billie Jean! And what is up with him looking at that girl that way in that last photo, Putter would have given him crap for doing that!!!
BTW I searched high and low to find the trailer online for the movie, but I couldn’t find one so you will have to enjoy listening to Pat Benatar’s Invincible from the movie. How awesome was that song and that movie? Oh sh!t, I didn’t type that because I don’t want one of those Hollywood types to see this post and think that they can remake this movie with Jared Leto as Billie Jean. Shhhh our little secret!

Another day, another disgusting Mel Gibson phone call
July 13th, 2010 under Mel Gibson. [ Comments: none ]

For the third business day in a row RadarOnline has released another shocking phone call from Mel Gibson to his baby mamma Oksana Grigorieva. This one is pretty much the same as the others, but his last words on the call left my mouth wide open. It ended with Mel finally letting her go take of their crying baby and him saying, “Go look after my child!” She fought back with, “She’s my child too.” But before he hung up he told her, “Yeah I know, unfortunately you c*nt whore! I hope she doesn’t turn out like you!” Wow, I think most of us can agree we really hope she doesn’t turn like him.
BTW after listening to all of these phone calls, we all desperately need a laugh so here is the very very very NSFW Mel Gibson/Christian Bale mashup we have all been waiting for and it was worth the wait. I have never heard the word f*ck some many times, and I haven’t laughed that hard in a really long time!

Helen Mirren finds Russell Brand’s beard
July 13th, 2010 under Helen Mirren, Russell Brand. [ Comments: none ]

WireImage (Russell Brand)
Helen Mirren and Russell Brand are filming a remake of Arthur and the Get to the Him Greek star shaved off his beard and chest hair for the movie. Well looks like all those hairs were made into a fake beard because both of them were photographed with it and yellow-rimmed sunglasses. Well Katy Perry’s fiancee’s shots were from the paparazzi, and the Oscar winner’s were by Arthur himself. In fact RustyRockets Tweeted this message with this picture, “Helen Mirren has been successfully corrupted. She is also now pregnant.” Why did he do that to her? What will their kid look like? It probably will have their beard. Poor Helen Mirren has been tainted…:(

Brad Pitt is a working actor again and that means he has finally shaved off that hairy beast. I am so glad they finally agreed on a script for Moneyball because Mr Angelina Jolie is cute again! It seriously took years off his face! I hope he is never not filming again for long periods of time because that billy goat look so didn’t work for him.

RIP George Steinbrenner
July 13th, 2010 under Obits. [ Comments: none ]

New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner passed away today at the age 80 after suffering a massive heart attack. He had been the owner of the winningest team in baseball since 1973. According to the Yankees, “Steinbrenner’s ownership of the Yankees spanned six championships, 10 American League pennants and a pair of dynasties, one of which – the team’s run of two World Series victories and three appearances from 1977-1981 – is remembered as one of baseball’s most controversial clubhouses and has been called “The Bronx Zoo” era.” What an amazing reign for the man who was the longest tenured owner in Major League Baseball.
Thankfully he lived long enough to see the new Yankees Stadium be named after him and better yet he saw he boys win the World Series there in their inaugural year there in October. He will live on via the stadium and the amazing legacy he left behind with all those World Series pennants.
As a girl who was born and raised in The Bronx, his death really saddens me because you can’t grow up in NYC without being a Yankees fan.
Steinbrenner is the second legendary NY Yankee to die this week, long time announcer Bob Sheppard passed away on Sunday at the age of 99. As my cousin said, “You think George was waiting for Bob to go first so there’d be someone there to properly announce his arrival?” If that was the case, what a way to be introduced into heaven.
