Yesterday at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, Ca., Princess Abby was named the World’s Ugliest Dog. Princess Abby is a Chihuahua with a hunched and peculiar walk because her back legs are longer than her front ones. And if that is not bad enough she is also has a missing eye. The lucky pup was rescued just 5 months ago and she is already a winner twice in 6 months. First by finding such a good home and second for winning a title, I am not sure that cutie deserves. So what did the dog win to feel like a princess? She won $1,000 and a year round modeling contract. I can’t wait to see her in her diamonds and a couture dress!
Tom Cruise appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and he did something he has never done before…he did a cooking segment. Well the Cocktail star is very particular on the ingredients that he uses and he wanted fresh from the chicken’s you know what eggs. Well there was a guy across the street from the JKL studios that was selling the exact eggs that he wanted. So the Mission Impossible star got Ben Affleck’s bitch to go up the roof and zip line from one side of Hollywood Blvd to the other and then zip line backwards back to the studio. So how nervous was the talk show host about that stunt? Well @JimmyKimmel Tweeted this reply when he was asked how close he was to peeing in his pants “very, very close”. I would have asked him how close he was to sh!tting in his pants because I assume he was much closer to doing that.
BTW for those of you have never been to JKL studios, you might not understand why Cruise opted to take the death defying risk that they did just to get those eggs. Kimmel’s show only has so much time to do each segment and he already had done his monologue and interviewed Cruise for one block and he still needed two blocks for the band. Well the traffic light that allows you to cross from JKL studios to Hollywood and Highland is one of the longest lights ever and it was actually a lot faster to do what they did then to wait for that light to change. Believe me, every time I go to see the show tape I get stuck at that f*cking light and it takes forever to change and I am not exaggerating.
Finally while Tom Cruise was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday, Craig Ferguson made it Tom Cruise Day on his CBS Late Late Show and dedicated his whole monologue to the Knight & Day star. Hopefully one day Ferguson will be able to use that little step he has if Tom Cruise will ever be a guest on his show. I would love to see Craig interview him!!!
So Craig Ferguson is in the Bahamas this weekend swimming with the sharks for Discovery’s Shark Week. Before he left his staff left him a little message during the “What did we learn on the show tonight, Craig?” Watch to see what they did and watch to see how he reacted? I personally thought it was very Ay Caramba funny!
As of now it looks like Craig Ferguson will be returning to CBS’s Late Late Show on Monday because @CraigyFerg just Tweeted, “Swam with sharks today. Blew my mind more than good LSD. Thanks to divers @ Stuart Coves in Bahamas I still have fingers to tweet.” At least I think it was him, it could’ve have been the shark that ate him that sent that Tweet. I guess we will find out Monday at 12:37a to see who really wrote that message on Twitter.
Tonight on Hallmark Channel at 9p, the feel good movie You Lucky Dog premieres. The movie is about Lisa, a NYC fashion designer who returns to the small town she grew up in after her mother dies. Her father and her brother have been working on the farm that is struggling to stay afloat. Her brother has decided that they need to add sheep to their farm to earn more money and when you get sheep you need a dog to herd them. Lisa adopts a boarder collie that one of the farmer’s gave up for adoption because he thought she wasn’t a good herder. Lisa thinks she can make Lucky a good herder and starts training her. Little by little Lucky becomes a good herder, but the true test will come one day when a fire threatens several young kids and their leader who were doing a nature hike before the fires started. Lisa sends Lucky into the woods to rescue the missing kids and their leader. Miraculously she saves everyone but suffers a serious injury. Will Lucky survive her injury? Will Lisa switch from fashion to the farm life? What is Lucky’s connection to her family? Tune into Hallmark Channel at 9p for a movie that will inspire you and make you cry, but leaving you feeling good!
Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he debuted his music video with Drake for their song that was made up from Celebrity Tweets. Drake and Jimmy’s Tweet Tweet includes Tweets from Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Jessica Simpson, Ashton Kutcher, and so many more and what those stars write on Twitter in under 140 characters really do make up a great song. I really hope this is the first of may raps for the talk show host and the Degrassi star because they actually sound really good together. Follow me, follow me, Tweet, Tweet! I just can’t the chorus out of my head.
And just because I am evil and want to make Jimmy Kimmel feel really old, Drake wasn’t even born when Pac-Man Fever came out. In fact the song was release almost 5 years before he came out of his mom. Ouch!
BTW Jimmy also interviewed Aubrey Graham and I had no idea the Canadian child star was Jewish. While that reveal was interesting finding out that Kimmel isn’t circumcised is something I really didn’t need to know.
