Today is the start of The Critic Association Winter Press Tour where the execs of the major networks and cable talk about their programming. The first network up is CBS and one of the questions asked was is Three Rivers cancelled? And although at first Nina Tassler denied she eventually gave in and said yes it is. Because I chose not to get here early enough here is what The Futon Critic said that she said, “You know what – yes,” Tassler admitted. “We’ve all known each other long enough to say when something’s on hiatus it’s code for something else. The reality is we were very proud of that show… eight lives were saved as a result of the organ donation that people became aware of because of that show. And every show takes its time in finding its legs – some shows take longer than others – but I think at the end of the day knowing that the fact that that show was on the air had that kind of impact is pretty extraordinary.” That is really f*cking amazing that the show was able to save 8 lives with the few amount of episodes. Imagine how many more lives they could’ve save if they would’ve stayed with Three Rivers over the needs to be retired Cold Case. Can some please get Kathryn Morris a hair transplant? I have tried to watch the show, but her hair distracts me.
Now back to Three Rivers, I will totally miss the show and I am thankful for the amount of episodes we did get…I just wish we got more!
BTW CBS also said Numb3rs could come back.
Yesterday Jason Segel was on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and the two of them shared public urination stories with each other for almost 5 minutes. What other show besides CBS’s LLS could two people talk about having other people blamed their need to pee in public?
BTW not only did they talk about pissing, but they also did a gag about the How I Met Your Mother’s star’s body part that the pee comes from.
Shenae Grimes was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and she was talking about the show that made her a star, Degrassi. Jimmy asked her about the show and she told him Degrassi was a remake. First off Degrassi: The Next Generation is a spinoff of the original and not a remake. Something you would think she would know since she was on the show for a few years and the show is hugely popular in Canada. The CW’s 90210 is a remake, and Degrassi is a spinoff. I guess that is why there are so many rumors that the cast of her Degrassi hates her, she seems to think she knows it all. Actually there aren’t only rumors that her old castmates her, there are rumors that her new ones do too. After watching that interview she did with Jimmy I can see why. I thought she personally came off as bitch, faking all of her reactions and making sure to look at the camera all the time and not Jimmy. As soon as she is done with 90210 her 15 minutes will be up and we probably won’t hear from her again. I thought she was going to be a star when she signed on for the show, but once I saw read her first line, I knew that wasn’t going to happen, Seriously how annoying is her character on the show? I loved it when they put her character in the background because the audience wasn’t responding well to her, hopefully they will continue to do when the show comes back in March!!!
Nigel Lythgoe is dating Mick Jagger’s ex-wife Jerry Hall according to The Sun.
A friend said: “Jerry and Nigel have been pals for a long time. But it’s blossomed into something much more recently.
“They kept bumping into each other at various social functions around London over the last year and always ended up making a beeline for each other. One thing led to another and they started dating in October.
“Both Jerry and Nigel have been unattached for some time.
“Neither of them were looking for love, but it found them anyway. They’re a great couple and gloriously happy.”
Jerry Hall could do better than Nigel, but I guess after Mick Jagger’s huge mouth she is one of the very few women who could actually tolerate looking at Nigel’s capped teeth while they are having sex. Imagine his orgasm face with those teeth? So ewwwwww.
So on Thursday a rumor was started that NBC was cancelling The Jay Leno Show at 10p and moving him back to his old time slot of 11:35p for a half hour thus moving Conan O’Brien to 12:05a and Jimmy Fallon to 1:05a and the late night world went into a frenzy. Today’s rumor is that it is Conan’s choice whether he wants to stay or go and there is specualtion that Fox has made him offer to come on over to their network. Being late night show hosts whether they are on NBC or not they had to make fun of the whole situation. Above are the hosts that are directly affected by the news and below are the two that I watch!
