We don’t get the American Idol 9 Top 12 until March 16th

Fox announced the schedule for the 9th season of American Idol and even though the show starts on January 12th, we will have to wait 2 months to find out who will make it to the important Top 12. That means for 2 months we have to sit through one month of Paula Abdul-less auditions with a several musicians and actors filling in for her until Ellen DeGeneres steps in to fill her shoes on February 9th.
Gone this season from the last one is gender mixed semifinalist from the Top 24, it will once again be boys one night and girls the next. (I wonder since the results show airs on Thursdays if that means Bones will be off the schedule for those 3 weeks, so that Idol can help give a stronger (no offense Bones) lead-in to the must watch Past Lives?) Also missing this season is the Wild Card round, which I am kind of happy about because the Judges have too much say so as it is why should they each get their pick?
So now that you know what to expect for the first the two months of American Idol 9, are you getting excited for the season or are you still bummed that Paula Abdul is no longer on the show.

Oh crap E! is bringing back Joan Rivers back for awards season

Just when the celebrities and us thought we were safe from Joan Rivers during Awards season, E! is bringing her back to do a fashion round-up. Not only will we have to suffer through her, but she is being joined by Khloé Kardashian Odom, Giuliana Rancic and Jay Manuel to make it even more unwatchable. But on a positive note her daughter Melissa is behind the camera producing and not giving us her opinion with her mom.
E! describes the show by saying the 4 will critique the fashions of the red carpet. Something I never understood about Joan because most of the time her dresses were uglier than the celebs she was going off on. And on a Khloe note what does she know about fashion, Kim is really the expert in that family. So why are they using her? When it comes to Jay and Guilana those two are just loud and annoying. So it will basically be four annoying people bitching about the clothes of the celebrities on the red carpet and saying mean things that are not funny and extremely cruel and uncalled for. Thankfully the show airs at 10p so no one will be watching because they will actually be watching the awards show that they are talking about.

Betty White is a Golden Bell Girl

Times are tough for Betty White and she told Craig Ferguson that she has taken a job as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army in order to make end’s meat. What happen once she tells Craig why she is ringing bells for a living will have your bell ringing out loud in laughter.
