Before Lori Loughlin was playing the mother to teens on 90210, she was one herself on The Edge of Night. She still looks the same now as when she was 16 back in 1981 on the soap, but a little bit older and better bangs.
So Michael Ausiello did a blind item today saying a male lead actor in a drama found out he was fired from the show he worked on when he read it in the script. He added that no one gave him any warning when it was going to happen and needless to say, the actor is not very happy. Can’t say I blame said actor.
The said actor is still a mystery, but Watch with Kristin confirmed that the original male actor that is slated to die is on Heroes and it will be an original male. Unfortunately as I said it is a male, and Hayden Panettiere is still with the show. Why isn’t it her??? Please, please, please kill her. I don’t give a sh!t about any hero going to college and trying to have a normal life, do you? Now back to who might die. The obvious would be Adrian Pasdar since Sylar got his body back and lost his memory. But that might be to obvious. Sylar can’t die, so Zachary Quinto should be around for the rest of the show’s run. Could it be Greg Grunberg, after all he is a cop and that is a dangerous profession. Than there is Peter Petrelli, who can now die but he is well liked. What happened to Suresh, bring him back to die? Then what about Ando, could be really sad if he died because he is friends with Hiro and engaged to his sister. Imagine if they killed him on his wedding day. The saddest death to me would be Hiro. Plus it looks like he is going to get healed on Monday’s episode, so you can’t kill off someone you saved, right? Seriously I think if he is the one they kill off, I might give up the show. Really to be honest the only one I would not mind if they killed off would be Claire. I like the male Heroes and I want them all to stay!!!
So who do you think is going to get? I have a feeling said actor is going to let it out there that he is the one that is gone because that is a majorly f*cked up way to find out you have been fired from a show you have been working on. And they are wondering where all the viewers are going???
BTW Greg Grunberg just Tweeted this, “Yes, one of the main characters is getting killed off for realzies!! Sad but true. Really sad. Stay tuned.” Think there is anything to read into there???
UPDATE: Heroes isn’t the only show seeing a major death coming up, according to what Katie Cassidy told Watch with Kritsin another character will die on Melrose Place and it will be shocking. Hmmm, I have no idea who it is, but I think it will be one of the women. I don’t think it will be either Katie Cassidy or Ashlee Simpson because they are the bigger names on the show. So could it be Riley and then Jonah has to deal with life without his fiance’? But that seems lame. Maybe Lauren gets killed by her Johns, but what type of storyline is that? I think we will have to wait until November to find out who won’t be there to see Heather Locklear on the show.

So last week CNN actually wasted hard news time to go over how Saturday Night Live did not fact check an Obama spoof on their fictional show, and last night Jon Stewart proved on The Daily Show that CNN doesn’t always fact check what goes on their air either. If that wasn’t snap snap enough, he also spent 11 minutes going over how the 24 hour network loves to leave segments there because they say they “ran out time”. And he perfectly summed it up by saying, “You have 24 hours in a day! How much more time do you need?” CNN must so hate him because he did a much better fact checking job on them, than CNN ever could dream of doing to SNL! Folks that is why Jon Stewart is constantly winning the Emmy for The Daily Show because that is some funny and true sh!t!!! So make sure to watch tonight and every night at 11p on Comedy Central!

Tonight on GSN at 6p George Takei and his husband Brad Altman will make television history as the first same-sex couple to play on The Newlywed Game. Can you believe it took a third of a century to make this happen? Hopefully they are the first of many same-sex coupes to appear on the show!

Freak Friday is getting a sequel called Freaky Monday based on the book of the same title that was written by the same author of the original book. According to Variety, “Freaky Monday centers on a smart but insecure girl who magically switches bodies with her sympathetic junior high English teacher for a day.” I was kind of hoping the sequel would be the story of the daughter from the original who is now a mom, switching places with her daughter, but this one sounds OK. Hopefully they can get Jodie Foster to play the teacher and maybe have John Astin play the principal or something. I chose to show the original Freaky Friday TV Spot because who doesn’t love John Astin, he is so freaking sexy to me!!!
