Jodie Foster and Hillary Swank are dueling it out to play Batgirl
July 20th, 2018 under Conan O'Brien, Hilary Swank, Jodie Foster. [ Comments: none ]

Several men have had their own comic book superhero movies over the last few years, but when are the women going to get their own film already? Looks like Batgirl is finally going to her shot and Conan O’Brien got his hands on their audition tapes.

Two-time Oscar winners Jodie Foster and Hilary Swank think they both have the right stuff, but so does Wanda Sykes. Kristen Schaal has her own a secret weapon, her beautiful baby daughter. Tig Notaro shows she has a greater range than all of off those actresses but will it be enough?

Only time will tell who will get the role of a lifetime, but my money is on Halle Berry who did not audition. It is not like she has ever done a career-killing DC Universe superhero movie? Or did she have that purrfect opportunity before?

BTWF: Jodie Foster for Coppertone
July 9th, 2018 under Before They Were Famous, Jodie Foster. [ Comments: none ]

Before Jodie Foster was one of the Foxes, she was just a cub for Coppertone. How precious was the 2-year-old in that 1965 commercial?

Priyanka Chopra and Jodie Foster are toxic
August 23rd, 2016 under Jodie Foster, Priyanka Chopra. [ Comments: none ]

Priyanka Chopra and Jodie Foster are two very different type of actresses, so it should be no surprise that they interpreted Britney Spears’ Toxic differently. The 2 time Oscar winner read it very dramatically, while the Quantico star turned it into a mating call for W Magazine.
They say opposites attract, and it is true. Their differences gave us a tune that we could all love.
Maybe Chopra will think about recording her version and release it as single. Better yet, maybe the ABC drama will use it for one of their episodes because it is so fitting for the show.

Before was Jodie Foster was dealing with a terror in The Silence of the Lambs, she was a terror in The Doris Day Show. How awwwdorable was the 6 year old future Oscar winner picking her nose in that 1969 episode?

They should just release The Beaver straight-to-DVD
February 7th, 2011 under Jodie Foster, Mel Gibson. [ Comments: none ]

There are very few people left who still like Mel Gibson because he has, well, pissed off so many of us with things he said when the camera wasn’t rolling. If that wasn’t bad enough, the movie he made with Jodie Foster is about a man who finds comfort in talking to a Beaver puppet that he wears on his hand. Sounds like a great movie for a rainy Saturday afternoon on basic cable, but not even close to worth whatever the movie ticket price is at your local theater. I guess the movie studio is starting the realize that because at first there was not date for the movie, thanks to a phone call he made. But then they decided to release it in March, and just like the temperature I am assuming that people are still cold on him. Well whatever the reason, today it was announced that the movie is coming out on May 6th according to The Hollywood Reporter. If I were Summit, I would just give this movie away as a free DVD to anyone who sees the next Twilight movies because that is what that movie is worth these days.
Seriously it isn’t only Mel Gibson why I don’t want to see that movie, it just looks so f*cking stupid.
