In very sad American Idol news, Marc Malkin breaks news that Kara DioGuardi will be back for another season of the show. We don’t have Paula Abdul yet signed on for season 9, but Kara (who I don’t know anyone who likes her) they are bringing back. Look there is nothing we can do at this time except when the show is back on to only watch it on our DVRs, so can fast forward whatever she says because I don’t think I have ever heard say anything that was useful. Kara I still don’t know what type of Judge you are…
Fox if you want to make it up to us, can you make sure that one of the conditions is that she is never ever allowed to write another finale song for the show. I will be a little less p!ssed that you are bringing her back if you can make that happen.
Roseanne Barr dressed up as Hitler for Heeb Magazine and since the Inglourious Basterds are all about killing Hitler, I want to know where they are when we really need them???
BTW warning to them and anyone else who tries to mess with Roseanne's cookies, seriously don't do it because she becomes a Cookie Monster. Last week Tom Arnold told Jimmy Kimmel that one time when his ex-wife and him were dieting and he smashed her cookies and then he claims that she took out a butcher knife and stabbed him in the chest. So if she dressed as Hitler and you do that, I pity the fool who tries to come in between Roseanne and her cookies.

DNA proves that 60,000 years ago we all came out of East Africa. Yes you read that right, we are all from the same place. National Geographic will have an interesting show called The Human Tree that will go to Queens, NY and test people’s DNA and trace people’s heritage. So just because you think that everyone in your family tree is one thing, your DNA could prove you can have another race or two or three or all in your lineage. I am really intrigued to see how this show plays out starting on August 30th!
The Human Family Tree is also expanding outside of Queens, NY and they are letting you test your DNA to see who you really are. If you want to test your DNA, you can do so on National Geographic site. I submitted mine and I am so excited to see where my lineage has been since East Africa.
The show will also explain why if we are all from the same place why we are so different. It really looks very compelling!!!
Another show coming to National Geographic this fall is Rescue Ink Unleashed. Four muscle guys from NY are helping to rescue abused animals. If you see these guys on the street you might run away. But when you see what they are doing they are just big teddy bears. Every week these guys get over 100 calls to rescue animals that are abused and help rescue them or work with the owners. This show debuting in the fall and will document what they do and I am really interested to watch these guys in action. We need more men like them, so support them by watching the show when it debuts on National Geograohic this fall.
There was one show I am really looking forward to and that is Search for Amazon Headshrinkers. I am totally not kidding but this show is one of my favs yet. They show a head being shrunk, seriously they do I saw the video!!! Piers Gibbons explained why people shrink heads. It is a form of capital punishment and it is believed if their head is shrunk the soul will not come back. The show will delve more into headshrinking and maybe because I am a horror movie lover, I am dying to learn more about why people shrink heads!
Before Mark-Paul Gosselaar was dating Kelly Kapowski on Saved By The Bell, he was dating Sarah Powell on Charles on Charge. OMG how precious was 13 year old in that 1988 episode of the show, he was just so little!!!
