I never noticed how big Matt Lauer's nose was (granted I never watch the Today Show) until he was standing side-by-side with Tom Cruise. Cruise attended (what had to be most boring) Roast ever for Matt Lauer and according to Us Weekly they both roasted each other.
Before he stepped off stage, Tom snipped, "I can't believe I flew all the way out here…lose my number, you glib putz."
"Why don't you sit down?" Lauer shot back. "We'll get you a booster seat!"
Actually I think the booster seat line is funny because it is true!

NBC is changing things up |

NBC, who is having a bad fall season, is changing things up for November sweeps. For some reason the network believes in Life and is trying to keep it alive by moving it from Fridays to Wednesdays at 9p according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show that has been doing crappy on Fridays will be sandwiched between Knight Rider and Law & Order. Life's move means that Lipstick Jungle is going to TV's graveyard night Fridays at 10p. Personally I wish NBC would move Lipstick Jungle to Fridays at 9p so it could kick The Ex List's a$$, not that that is hard to do. BTW some more bad news, Heroes is going on hiatus in December to make room for Mommas Boys.

Courteney Cox, Kurt Russell, David Arquette, Cindy Crawford, Tobey Maguire, Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen started the Halloween festivites early this weekend. While I think most of the costumes are fun, I think Cindy Crawford's was tasteless. When are her 15 minutes going to end already?

Amy Winehouse hospitalized again |

Amy Winehouse, who hasn't been seen in a while, was hospitalized over the weekend for a chest infection according to Daily Mirror.
He said: “Amy is in hospital being checked out for a chest infection. She is not back in rehab. She should be fine and is expected to return home soon.”
Amy's father told the press in June that Amy is suffering from emphysema said if she didn't stop smoking she would die. She has been seen smoking since the diagnosis. Someone told the paper that when she brought in to the hospital she "looked painfully thin with yellow teeth at the weekend."
Hopefully she will go straight from the hospital to rehab, but I doubt that will happen.
