Julianne Hough who was hospitalized after last Tuesday’s show for a severe stomach ache is now saying that ache was a little more serious and she will need to have her appendix removed. According to E! online she will have the surgery tomorrow. Hopefully she will not be out of the competition for the season because I really like her.
So tune in to Dancing with the Stars at 8p tonight on ABC to get the update on Julianne Hough and see what crazy, but fun things Cloris does! UPDATE: Julianne will have surgery tomorrow and Edyta will fill her dancing shoes until she is healthy enough to do so again. Which could be as early as next week.
Here is to praying her surgery goes smoothly tomorrow and a speedy recovery.
xoxo Michael! UPDATE 2: Julianne blogged that she will be out for at least next week’s show…:(
They’re doing it laparoscopically through my belly button so I won’t have a scar. My mom had it done a few years ago and she doesn’t have a scar. With my mom and my sister having endometriosis, you can see genetics plays a big part. I guess my brother Derek is the only sibling in the family who doesn’t have to worry about having his ovaries checked.
They say its three or four days of recovery. I’m thinking more like a week. Then I’ll be able to work with Cody. But I won’t be dancing for two weeks.
NBC is changing up the 3 chimes that has been their sound since the start of the network according to Broadcasting & Cable. NBC will have several artists redo the chimes as they re-imagine them and we will hear how they destroy them starting around Thanksgiving?
Each artist will interpret the notes in their respective milieu. B.B. King will make give the notes a bluesy twang on his guitar. The B-52s will put a pop spin on them. At the shoot last week, T.I. conceived his own rap about NBC.
Seriously how is Ben Silverman still running NBC? All he does is destroy the network?
Today is a Monday and we all need some cuteness to get through the day, so why not get it with some pets dressed up for Halloween! I can’t pick a favorite because I think they are all so adorable, but if you want to vote for you favorite you can do so at Ultra Kawaii!!!
For Simon’s 50th birthday, John, Nick and Roger gave him an unusual present. Inside the giant silver DJ box were 50 albums, one released in each of the years since Simon’s birth. The three of them argued long and hard about which choice was appropriate for each year, and of course, many years had several great albums known to be favourites of Simon’s, which made the task even harder. Over a period of several months they gathered the collection from far and wide, and although most were found in the US and the UK, the Cocteau Twins “Blue Bell Knoll” and Kraftwerk’s “Man Machine” were found by Nick and John on a shopping spree in Rimini, Italy!
When the gift was finally presented to Simon, he was actually visibly taken aback. The choices ranged from Elvis to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, from David Bowie to Dr. Dre, but admittedly there is one Duran Duran album – they included “Rio” for the year 1982.
The Wild Boys of Duran Duran gave Simon LeBon a wonderful gift for his 50th birthday. Now I am going to go in to a corner and cry becasue I feel old.
