A crazy day in the life of Ryan Seacrest
May 19th, 2008 under American Idol 7, Jimmy Kimmel, Ryan Seacrest. [ Comments: none ]

Ryan Seacrest shared his daily grid schedule with Jimmy Kimmel on Friday and I was exhausted just listening to him, that I don’t know how he does it day in and day out. I admire those three people who are CC’d on that list because if I was in control of that schedule he would be showing up naked on American Idol…which might not be a bad thing!
Seriously after hearing his schedule, I am so in awe of him!!!
BTW coming up on Kimmel this week is Lost’s Matthew Fox and the winners of Dancing with the Stars, Josh Grobin on Wednesday, Johnny Knoxville on Thursday and Neil Diamond and Shia LeBeouf on Friday!!!

Marriage Equality Comes to California
By George Takei

Our California dream is reality. Brad Altman and I can now marry. We are overjoyed! At long last, the barrier to full marriage rights for same-sex couples has been torn down. We are equal with all citizens of our state!

The California Supreme Court has ruled that all Californians have a fundamental right to marry the person he or she loves. Brad and I have shared our lives together for over 21 years. We've worked in partnership; he manages the business side of my career and I do the performing. We've traveled the world together from Europe to Asia to Australia. We've shared the good times as well as struggled through the bad. He helped me care for my ailing mother who lived with us for the last years of her life. He is my love and I can't imagine life without him. Now, we can have the dignity, as well as all the responsibilities, of marriage. We embrace it all heartily.

The California Supreme Court further ruled that our Constitution provides for equal protection for all and that it cannot have marriage for one group and another form – domestic partnership – for another group. No more "separate but equal." No more second-class citizenship. Brad and I are going to be married as full citizens of our state.

George Takei is the second celebrity since the California Supreme Court overturned the ban on same-sex marriages to announce they are marrying their partner. He added on his blog that they are planning the wedding now!
So now that Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi, and George and Brad have announce their upcoming nuptials who do you think will be next? Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels? Jimmy Kimmel and Ben Affleck?
Congrats to them all!!!

The trailer for Australia!
May 19th, 2008 under Baz Luhrmann, Keith & Nicole Urban. [ Comments: 2 ]

Australia looks like a true epic and I can’t wait until November to see it. I have been waiting for a new Baz Luhrmann film since Moulin Rouge and looks like Australia is not going to disappoint.

Looks like Flavor Flav is getting too old for Flavor of Love
May 19th, 2008 under Flavor Flav, VH1/MTV. [ Comments: 1 ]

Poor Flavor Flav falling asleep on his romantic date with Black. Wonder if that is a sign he won’t choose her over Thing 2 or Sinceer on tonight’s series finale of Flavor of Love on VH1 at 9p. I will miss Flavor of Love, luckily we still have Rock of Love!
