Film legend Jerry Lewis has the perfect punishment in mind for Mel Gibson. "I’m doing a film with Mel Gibson and his father," Lewis told reporters Thursday at a pre-telethon media gathering. "I’m going to direct it, and I’m calling it ‘Skinheads,’ and we’re going to open in Haifa and then go on to Berlin and Jerusalem and Tel Aviv," Lewis said. "It should be wonderful. It’s an exciting idea."Gibson created an international stir in July when he went on an anti-Semitic tirade after being picked up on suspicion of drunken driving. Among his rants to the arresting officer: "The Jews are responsible for all the wars."The 80-year-old Lewis, who hosts his 41st telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Sunday and Monday at the South Coast, also confirmed that he’s in talks with "Will & Grace" star Sean Hayes for a remake of "Cinderfella."

‘Fat Actress’ star Kirstie Alley, has shed the bulge and plans to show off her new trim figure by appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show in a bikini.The actress who shot to fame in the popular series ‘Cheers’ before piling on the pounds went onto use her plump figure to artistic advantage, starring in the ‘Fat Actress’ TV show, which drew inspiration from her real life experiences.The 51-year-old actress, who played Rebecca in the U.S. sitcom, has struggled to control her weight for a number of years in a pattern which has conversely mirrored the highs and lows of her love life.In the aftermath of her divorce from ex-Baywatch actor Parker Stevenson in 1997, which resulted in a custody battle over their two adopted children, William and Lillie, the former cheerleader gained more than two stones and shot from a size 10 to a size 16.But last year Alley, who once tipped the scales at 230 pounds, made her struggle to slim down public as she worked to shrink down to 160 pounds.She is now celebrating after surpassing her goal, weighing in at 145 pounds. But having come this far, Alley is confident she can go even further and reach a taut and toned 135 pounds."I would like to look the best I could," said Alley, who has combined yoga and exercise with healthy eating. "That means kicking myself in the ass and working out constantly."Alley, who followed the ‘Jenny Craig’ diet programme, has appeared, looking svelte and sexy, in a commercial for the company and she now plans to come good on a promise she made on the Oprah Winfrey programme last year to return to the talk show wearing nothing but a bikini.

After already reshuffling about one half of its originally announced fall 2006 primetime schedule, NBC is making two more changes. The Peacock net will flip new Wednesday 8-9 p.m. comedies 20 Good Years and 30 Rock, with 30 Rock now opening the evening followed by 20 Good Years at 8:30 p.m. Both half-hours were originally scheduled Wednesday at 9 p.m. leading out of The Biggest Loser (which will remain at 9 p.m.). In addition, the debut date for 20 Good Years has been pushed back from Oct. 4 to Oct. 11.

Boy is NBC in trouble!

Mos Def was arrested last night for disorderly conduct outside the Radio City Music Hall, where the MTV Video Music Awards were taking place.The rapper was performing an impromptu version ‘Katrina Clap’, a song which criticised George Bush. The rapper had showed up in a flatbed truck at 10pm for an impromptu show.Authorities asked Mos Def and members of his entourage to shut down their operation due to crowd conditions and the overall safety of everyone involved, MTV News reports. When this did not happen police began arresting members of his entourage and the rapper himself.Mos Def’s publicist Carleen Donovan said: "Mos Def was unjustly arrested tonight…was not out to break any laws."His only goal was to heighten the awareness of a serious situation that still exists in our country."He does not want people to forget that although it’s one year later, the people and cities hit by the hurricane still need the help of the American people."Mos Def was released early this morning . It is as yet unclear whether he has been charged with any offence.

ABC is looking into how a rough cut of a sex scene from the new season of Desperate Housewives found its way onto YouTube a month before the episode is scheduled to air. According to Variety, the encounter in question finds Nomi Bree begging off a certain, um, "sexual favor" offered by new beau Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) — "I’m a Republican," she contests — but ultimately giving in (and then some) to the gesture. A source tells Variety the steamy scene is still expected to air, but perhaps with trims to what some feel might be too prolonged a climax for the Wisteria Lane redhead. "We are looking into the unauthorized clips on YouTube, and will be having them taken down," says an ABC rep, not realizing this is the most interesting thing to happen with Housewives in a year.
