Lance Barber attended his character’s funeral on Young Sheldon
May 17th, 2024 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: 1 ]

Yesterday, on the 1-hour series finale of Young Sheldon, we watched the Coopers say goodbye to George at his funeral.

But there was something we all missed: Lance Barber, who played the guy in the coffin, showed up to his funeral as a living woman.

Did you see him with all of the mourners? Because I didn’t. That was a really good disguise.

What I did see was what a great job that his TV daughter Raegen Revord did in that episode. I can’t wait to see what she does next. Not only has she grown in inches, but she also grew as an actress!

A long, long time ago, Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Natalie Morales had jobs that are different than the one that they have now as hosts on the CBS daytime talk show The Talk.

Starting on Monday, May 20th, they are all going back to work and doing what they used to do when they were first starting out in the work world.

Underwood starts the week off. The comedian will be taking orders at Pioneer Chicken. Hopefully, she won’t be fried after a long day of work handing out fried chicken and fried fish.

The next day, the Fat Kid from Stand By Me takes an acting class—not just any acting class, but one for children.

Hump Day gets a kick from Kloots. The dancer dresses up as a hot dog mascot, just like she did when she was a teen.

We know Gbajabiamila as a professional football player, but before that, he was making a splash saving lives as a lifeguard.

The week closes out with total cuteness. News anchor Morales spent her teens working with animals, and she will get to do it again. Sounds like a tough job, but someone has to do it.

Who do you think is going to have the most challenging time doing their 9 to 5 again? And who do you think might hand in their application because they are going to need a new job in January?

Jerry O’Connell’s sexy selfie!
May 17th, 2024 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn. [ Comments: none ]

Jerry O’Connell got ready to watch Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, so he made like one of their albums. You know, Slippery When Wet. Although his towel somehow was able to stay up and not slip off!

However, would that be such a bad thing because he looks sexy for 50?

Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli covered in spaghetti
May 17th, 2024 under Bruno Tonioli, Simon Cowell. [ Comments: none ]

Britain’s Got Talent is turning into a Gordon Ramsay show because the judges will be covered with spaghetti and parmesan cheese tomorrow night.

Well, not all of the judges, just Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli.

How did that happen? Opera singer Natalie Choquette invited the two men, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, on stage for a pasta dinner. However, what they didn’t know was that she planned on serving the pasta on top of them instead of to them.

Cowell was the first victim, and then the Dancing with the Stars judge found himself wearing a pot full of the carbs.

While the men were not so lucky, the women were smart and ran off stage to Ant & Dec.

And with that, I am sure Choquette will not be advancing on BGT.

John Oates talks about how out of touch he and Daryl Hall are now
May 17th, 2024 under Hall & Oates. [ Comments: none ]

For 30 years, Daryl Hall and John Oates made beautiful music together. But for the last 20 years, they have been saying I can’t go for that to the other one.

So, last year, Oates decided he wanted to sell his half of Hall & Oates, and Hall filed a restraining order against his singing partner. And the fans were like, say isn’t so.

Since then, neither man has really talked about their failed music marriage. But in recent weeks, Hall broke his silence and said they had not worked together creatively in over 20 years.

Today, Oates spoke to Michael Strahan on Good Morning America. “We never really had a lot of disagreements. But then again, we really didn’t talk to each other very much,” he explained. “Over the past 20 years, we’d show up at a show individually, walk on stage, play, and then we’d go our separate ways. It really wasn’t as tight as people might, you know, would like to imagine in their kind of a fantasy imagination of our relationship.”

Oates also said that even though they were a duo, they were both individuals as musicians. And now they are going their separate ways because Hall & Oates is out of touch and out of time.

Even though it seems like there is ill will between them, Oates’ message to his former bandmate was not that. “I love you like a brother if I’m talking to him directly,” he said. “But you know what? Brothers have disagreements. Families grow apart. I would say, ‘I wish him the best. I hope that he has everything he wants in life. And that he can pursue his dream of being a respected solo artist.’ Which I believe is something that he’s always wanted.”

And now they are both getting it. Oates released his eighth solo album this week.

When it comes to if I am Team Hall or Team Oates, I am Team Oates. I just feel that Hall screwed him over when it comes to terminating their partnership.
