Seth Meyers, without my approval, is taking some time off from Late Night with Seth Meyers. But his people are still distributing social media content.
One of the things they shared with us was his Q&A with the audience and someone asking how Day Drinking with Seth Meyers got started.
The segment originally started when Seth and his Gavin Newsom-looking brother, Josh, would go from bar to bar drinking. Then they realized checking out bars is boring. However, watching them get drunk is not.
So when Good Girls’ Retta asked him if she could go Day Drinking with him, he said yes, and the segment was born. Because of that, many celebrities, like Rihanna, Lizzo, and Paul Rudd, have woken up with some of their worst hangovers.
How many times can we see him and a celebrity get shitfaced every season? Meyers says, “We only do two or three a year cause we feel like at some point, people are going to be like, ‘This guy’s too old.'”
That people is probably his wife, Alexi, who has spent many nights regretting her husband’s decisions.
Who do you want to see Meyers get drunk with? My first choice is Timothy Olyphant. And my second choice is Henry Winkler, who asked to do it even though he doesn’t drink. Now, I wish Betty White were still alive because she probably could have drunk him under the table.
You can watch all but one of the hilarious Day Drinking with Seth Meyers segments on Peacock.
It has been 14 years since we lost Whitney Houston, and the late singer is being remembered with a Barbie doll on what would have been her 63rd birthday.
The Barbie wears a body-hugging, light purple, knee-length dress, like the one the Grammy winner wore in her “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me) music video.
The Whitney Houston Barbie is available now at Target, Walmart, and Amazon.
One of the dumbest presidential controversies was the time that Barack Obama wore a tan suit. Now, almost 12 years to the dark day, we know who told him to wear it. Who was it? Someone almost as insufferable as the color of the suit: Larry David.
The truth was revealed during the season finale of Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, the comedy which is very loosely based on historical events.
How were they able to get the former President to finally reveal the truth? He produced the HBO Max series with David.
It is so good to know the truth! Now, if we could only get all the truths about Meidas Dump, they could do a whole season on that on LLATPOH.
Have you ever wanted a taco and a burger, but never thought you could get it as one meal? Well, you can at Del Taco.
The All-American Burgertaco is described as “two 100% beef patties grilled to order, two slices of American cheese, two fresh tomato slices, burger sauce, crisp shredded lettuce, and diced onions on a warm buttery toasted flatbread.”
I don’t know about you, but Belinda Carlisle might be onto something because Heaven can be a place on Earth!
“Our fans have always loved that they can order amazing burgers and tacos from the same menu since 1964, so we’re leaning into their cravings with a new item that’s unmistakably Del Taco,” said Noah Chillingworth, Chief Marketing Officer at Del Taco. “Whether you love tacos or burgers, all Americans can agree that Del Taco’s new Burgertaco delivers an iconic flavor for guests who want the best of both worlds.”
The menu item is available now for a limited time.
