Remember Little House on the Prarie’s Jonathan Gilbert?
March 25th, 2024 under Remember?. [ Comments: none ]

Over the weekend, most of the surviving cast of Little House on the Prarie got reunited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their show at the place where they filmed it in Simi Valley.

One of the surprises was that Jonathan Gilbert, who played Willie Oleson, attended the fan event.

The actor has rarely been seen publically since his final appearance in the franchise in 1984.

It might have been 40 years since we have seen the 56-year-old, but he still looks great!

Who knew the troublemaker would turn out to be the cutest actor from the beloved family drama? But he did. Hopefully, we will see more of him.

Maybe he will decide to leave Wall Street and return to Hollywood Blvd?

For some reason, CBS is keeping the Golden Globes around
March 25th, 2024 under Awards, CBS. [ Comments: none ]

NBC parted ways with the Golden Globes because they reportedly had a history of lack of diversity.

It looked like no one wanted to air the award shows that parted ways with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and taken over by Dick Clark Productions.

I guess that sounded good to CBS because they decided to air it this year. Even though it was not a ratings success, the network is happy enough with it to give it five more years.

“We’re so proud to continue to call CBS our home for the Golden Globes,” said Jay Penske, chairman and CEO of Penske Media and Dick Clark Productions. “CBS stepped up for the Globes during a very challenging time, and inherently understood its value, while having the foresight, imagination and conviction to bring this iconic show to its many platforms. We’ve long admired CBS’ commitment to some of the greatest cultural live events and partnering for the long term further cements this show’s legacy and incredible place in history.”

The Globes must be cheap because why else would they keep them going in a television world with way too many awards shows?

Bath & Body Works let’s us smell like Bridgerton
March 25th, 2024 under Netflix, Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Do you want to smell as sexy as Netflix & Chill? Well, now you can because the streaming service teamed up with Bath & Body Works to release a scent in honor of the Romantic show Bridgerton.

Starting today, you can pick up Diamond of the Season. The fragrance features notes of sparkling peach, spring daffodil, and radiant jasmine and is available in body care, candles, hand soaps, and sanitizers.

Along with this fragrance, BBW also released four other scents. Danbury Shortbread is yummy to the nose with hints of whipped vanilla, almonds, and sugar crystals. Wisteria Garden transports you there with the aroma of sweet rosewood, English rain, and lemon petals. You can inhale Queen Charlotte’s Tea with rich bergamot, bold citrus, and black tea leaves. Finally, the men have the manly scent of smooth amber, oakwood, and dried orchids with the Bridgerton Study.

“At Bath & Body Works, we aim to forever transform the viewing experience for millions of Netflix fans by allowing the power of fragrance to transport them like never before into their favorite stories and scenes,” said Maurice Cooper, Chief Customer Officer at Bath & Body Works. “Scent is the most evocative of all our senses—it heightens our emotions, experiences, and memories — and we want to take fandom for all those who love Bath & Body Works and Netflix to new levels through this inspiring new partnership.”

There will be more fragrances inspired by Netflix coming throughout the year.

Personally, I wish BBW would do this with other Netflix series. They could have one in honor of Sweet Magnolias that could smell like magnolias and freshly baked cookies. And for Stranger Things, it could throw it back to the ’80s with cotton candy, apples, and bubblegum. What shows do you wish they would team up on, and what would they smell like?

This is why actors should work with animals

They say they never work with animals and babies in Hollywood because they are unpredictable. However, sometimes, that unpredictableness is a good thing.

Case in point, here is Ricky Gervais working with a German Shepherd who is a big fan of his. How do we know? She couldn’t stop licking him when he was shooting a commercial for his Dutch Barn Vodka.

No one can blame the sweet dog for kissing the comedian. That is because last year, he donated almost $2 million to animal charities all over the world. So the lovable puppy was just showing her appreciation from her and all of his four-legged buddies!
