Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Yesterday was the WGA Awards, and they honored Drew Carey, who paid for their meals during the strike.

The Price Is Right host spent over $1 million at two restaurants near striking locations so that no writer would starve.

Why did he do it? Because it was the right thing to do.

And he also explained, “You writers…made me a fucking million. Everybody in this room makes some actor a million. And you deserve all the money you get. And all the credit you get.”

So, he was paying it forward. Something his accountant and agent were.
were trying to convince him to stop doing it because it was costing the comedian so much money.

But he didn’t stop because if he did, then the producers would have seen it as those who were striking were starting to give up. So he didn’t care how much it cost him because he was fighting for the people who helped him and many other actors become rich.

So thank you, Drew Carey, for having a huge heart.

On November 22, 1968, William Shatner and Nichelle Nichols changed television when his white Captain Kirk kissed an African American Lieutenant Uhura.

Before then, people would go crazy if a white person touched a black one. So for the two actors to kiss was a big thing. It was such a big thing that it could have possibly led to Star Trek’s cancellation.

However, Shatner told Bill Maher on Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday that he insisted the kiss happen. Had he not done that, who knows how much longer it would’ve taken for that to have happened?

But we don’t have to worry about that because it happened. So something that is so common today was grounds for cancellation 55 years ago.

We have some so far. And we still have a long way to go. But we will get there. I hope!

Conan O’Brien is the new king of Hot Ones. And no one comes even close.

It is not that he reveals that he told Bea Arthur that she had just four years to live, and she died right before she made that milestone.

It is that he actually drank the hottest hot sauce and was still fine, fucking fine. Although, we knew he wasn’t. There is no way he could’ve been.

I have gotten my tolerance up to Ghost Pepper and was looking away for the last five minutes of this interview. Even Sean Evans was in shock.

I mean, it was so hot that Conan’s face matched his hair. I didn’t know where his face ended and his hairline began.

And with that, my hat is off to him.

The best part of this Hot Ones is that now everyone is now realizing what I already knew, that Conan is a freaking comedic genius!
