Victoria Beckham turned the big 5-0, and her husband, David Beckham, threw her party. So, he invited four of her best friends, Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell, to celebrate the milestone.
You can’t have Posh Spice, Scary Spice, Sporty Spice, Baby Spice, and Ginger Spice in the same room and not expect them to sing! And that is what they did. Golden Balls shared a video of the Spice Girls singing Stop!
Hopefully, the good times won’t stop, and the five of them will hit the road again! Because we need them to spice up our lives again.
Luke Bryan has a knack for falling on stage, and yesterday was no different.
The singer was talking to the audience at the Coast City Country Festival in Vancouver when he accidentally stepped on a cellphone and comedically fell on his ass.
After a few seconds, he got up, gave the phone back to the person who had thrown it on the stage, and asked if any of his fans had captured him falling. So he grabbed that phone and watched himself falling over and over again.
If you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? And the American Idol gives us plenty to laugh with at him!
CBS has been picking up shows like NCIS, The Neighborhood, and Fire Country for another season. However, today, they cancelled So Help Me Todd and CSI: Vegas.
While I am not surprised by CSI: Vegas, the sequel to CSI, because no one knows it is on, I am sad that So Help Me Todd with Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin will not be back. But the writing was on the wall when CBS announced yesterday that Elsbeth was renewed.
I say that because CBS likes dark and gritty, and Elsbeth and Todd are both light and happy. Therefore, the network can only have one on the air at a time. Well, technically, there will be two shows because Matlock with Kathy Bates will join Elsbeth next season. I betcha Elsbeth will be a midseason replacement show.
Next year will be the 50th anniversary of Welcome Back, Kotter. But we don’t have to wait that long to see a reunion between two of the Swaathogs.
Yesterday, at the TCM Film Festival screening to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Pulp Fiction, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, 70, decided to surprise his friend John Travolta, 70. So when Freddie Washington saw his buddy on the red carpet, he boomed-boomed his way over to Vinnie Barbarino. And it was like no time had passed for the old classmates.
I love moments like this and wish they would happen more often. The only thing that would’ve made their encounter perfect is if Travolta had said, “Up your nose with a rubber hose!” Such a classic line.
Dick Van Dyke was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama. The 98-year-old actor received the nomination for playing Mystery Man/Timothy Robicheaux on Days of our Lives last year.
While that is an honor in itself, he received another honor because of it. He is now the oldest actor to be nominated for an Emmy. Before today, David Attenboro held that title at 92.
If Van Dyke wins, it will be its seventh Emmy win and third Daytime Emmy.
Hopefully, he will bring home the statuette at the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on June 7th. You can watch the awards show on CBS.
