The Simpsons are surprising us with three new episodes
May 28th, 2026 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

Were you upset that we got three fewer episodes of The Simpsons this season? Well, we are getting three new episodes on Disney+ this Summer.

“Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition”
Premieres June 17, 2026, exclusively on Disney+

In this Disney+ exclusive double-episode, Homer and Marge’s fun couples’ date night goes off the rails when Marge learns Homer left the kids unsupervised with only the doorbell camera as a babysitter. Frustrated with her imperfect husband, a tipsy Marge stirs up a trilogy of fantasies of a different Homer. The special guest stars Betty Gilpin, with musical guests Laufey and Tegan and Sara.

“Simpsley”
Premieres July 3, 2026, exclusively on Disney+

When penniless con-artist Marge Bouvier is sent to Italy to convince wealthy sap Seymour Skinner to come home, she’s tempted by the trappings of his affluent lifestyle. But there’s a big fat fly in the ointment: Skinner’s clingy, dim-witted mooch of a houseguest, Homer Simpsley. Lies, lust and Italian lira are abound in this Disney+ exclusive Simpsons noir.

“Yellow Mirror”
Premieres Aug. 26, 2026. exclusively on Disney+

A defective lamp reveals a heartbreaking truth about what Homer believes is reality, and an AI-powered tablet befriends and controls Maggie. The Simpsons struggle to find the light through two dark tales of the curious and bizarre in this Disney+ exclusive.

I hope we get some cursing. I want to hear Bart Simpson swear.

Before Maxwell Caufield appeared in the primetime Soap Opera, The Colbys, he made his debut on the Daytime Drama, Ryan’s Hope. How sexy was the 22-year-old in that 1982 episode?

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will ring America’s 250th
May 28th, 2026 under Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen. [ Comments: none ]

Now that Warner Bros and Paramount are merging, and it looks like CNN will be decimated, the news network is throwing the lions into the den and telling them to have fun.

Case in point. They are bringing Andy Cohen back, almost five months early, to celebrate America turning 250 on July 3rd with his good friend, Anderson Cooper.

The two will go live from Times Square, where there will be a special ball drop to honor our 250 years of our Independence from England.

They will be joined by American Icons from those we have heard of to those who we should hear about more often.

All of that is nice, but drinking better be involved so that Cohen can say what he truly thinks of Meidas Dump. That and I always love hearing Cooper drunk giggle.

Although Cooper can’t get too drunk because he will be co-hosting the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular with Pamela Brown on July 4th, from Boston. Maybe the two can have Long Island Iced Teas to celebrate the Boston Tea Party that started it all!

Three more acts drop out of Freedom 250

Yesterday, Freedom 250 announced nine concerts to celebrate America’s 250th. The acts are a bunch of ’90s has-beens. However, not has-been enough to drop out of the event.

Morris Day and the Time, Young MC, and C+C Music Factory dropped out. Today, three more musicians followed suit.

Melissa McBride wrote: “I would like to talk to you and clear the air. I will not be performing at the Great American State Fair on June 25th. I was presented with an opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event but that turned out to be misleading. I asked lots of questions and was assured this was a nonpartisan event that was meant to celebrate ALL 50 states. In my mind I thought this was a great way to celebrate the states and also bring people together in the way that only music can. I saw it as just a bigger version of so many state fairs I have performed at over the years, celebrating community and what makes each state special. Sounds fun, right? Wholesome even. Yesterday things started changing and what we were told is, in fact, not what is happening.

“I’ve spent my entire career singing songs about real people with real issues. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be a voice for those who have felt like they didn’t have one. It greatly upsets me that any fan who has been moved by my music may now feel like I’m abandoning the meaning behind those songs. I assure you, that is not the case. I appreciate every single fan who has reached out. I hope to get back to the DC area very soon.”

The Commodores wrote: “The Commodores will not be performing at the Great American State Fair.

“Our music has always been our voice and we choose not to publicly affiliate with any single political party. We support the betterment of all Americans.”

Finally, Milli Vanilli wrote: “The Commodores will not be performing at the Great American State Fair.

“Our music has always been our voice and we choose not to publicly affiliate with any single political party. We support the betterment of all Americans.”

Neither Bret Michaels nor Flo Rida has confirmed or denied whether they will still perform. However, Flo Rida is touring overseas.

Lastly, Vanilla Ice is going full steam ahead. Personally, I think he is a big part of booking this event. But, sadly, it backfired for Meidas Trump.

UPDATE: Add Bret Michaels to the list of cancellations.

Hello to all my awesome friends & fans,

I wanted to jump on here real quick and talk about the upcoming Freedom 250 event in Washington, D.C.

When this opportunity was originally presented to my team, it was described as a celebration of our country through music and a chance to honor our veterans, active military, first responders, teachers and hardworking Americans from all walks of life. As the son of a veteran, and coming from a family that has proudly served, that is something I have always been honored to support.

As many of you know, I’ve spent my entire career bringing people together through music, positivity and good vibes. My shows have never been about politics. They’re about giving people a place to come together, have a great time and forget about life’s stresses for a few hours.

Unfortunately, what was presented to us as a celebration of our country has evolved into something much more divisive than what I agreed to be a part of. Concerns have also been raised regarding the safety of my fans, band, crew, family and myself, including threats that are completely unfounded and unforgivable.

Because of that, I have made the difficult decision to step away from this performance.

What does Derek Hough’s hat say?
May 28th, 2026 under Derek Hough. [ Comments: none ]

Derek Hough shared a topless photo showing off his toned abs from dancing, and I bet you didn’t look at his baseball cap. I know it took me a while to notice he was wearing one. How long did it take you?
