Ever since 1974, we have been infuriated by Stephen King’s Carrie. The story of a tortured teenage girl who uses her telekinetic powers to get revenge on all of the people who hurt her.
The novel only tells a little part of her story, and we have wanted to know more about her, her religious, abusive mother, and her high school bullies. We will get more of her story in the 8-part series, Carrie.

Saturday Night Live is returning on September 26th, and today we found out who will be hosting the season premiere.
NY Knicks and NBA Champion MVP Jalen Brunson hopes to score a slam dunk as he hosts the 52nd season premiere, with KATSEYE as the musical guest.
The following week, Dakota Johnson will host for the third time, and she will rock out with Turnstile.
Shane Gillis will also host for the third time on October 10th, and Rosalía will be performing for the second time.
Finally, we have all become obsessed with Obsession’s Inde Navarrette. We are not the only ones because Lorne Michaels asked her to host on Halloween. She will be joined by J.J. Abrams’ daughter, Grace, who is back singing for a second time.
There is also a cast update: Martin Herlihy is leaving the variety show after five seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. So far, Chloe Fineman and he are the only ones who are not returning for the upcoming season.
