In 1993, Patrick Renna made S’mores with a toasty marshmallow in Sandlot, and people have been debating if that is how it should be done ever since. Some like it toasty, and others like it gooey.
After a third of a century, Hershey’s wants to settle the debate once and for all, so they got the actor and his son to answer the question. And that didn’t help things.
Therefore, they did some polling, and now we have the answer.
Over two thirds (69%) of S’mores eaters are Camp Toasty. These consumers want to see the outside completely toasted, with 17% looking for some blackened char and 11% wanting the marshmallow on fire.
One third (29%) of survey respondents are Camp Gooey, with the majority prioritizing an ooey gooey center for the ultimate s’mores experience.
2% represent people who either don’t want a marshmallow at all (1%) or those who say it “doesn’t matter” (1%).
I love my white marshmallows, black like my heart. How do you like your S’mores?
No matter whether you are Team Toasty or Team Gooey, spend the Summer in front of a campfire with graham crackers, marshmallows, and Hershey’s chocolate to make the yummiest sandwich!
2025 did not end on a happy note for Barry Manilow. The singer was diagnosed with lung cancer, and he underwent surgery to remove it.
The surgery went well, and they got all the cancer. However, the 82-year-old developed pneumonia and spent a week in the ICU, unsure if he would get out of there. But he did.
And he is getting ready to do what he loves: singing for his fans.
However, he told Good Morning America today that everything he has been through with his lungs has affected his voice. It does not sound the same, and he is unsure it ever will. As you can hear, it is lower, softer, and raspier.
He told GMA, “That is really upsetting. Because I don’t want it to stop.” As of now, he is still planning on hitting the road at the end of the month to support his new album, What a Time, which comes out on Friday.
Manilow turns 83, on June 17th. Hopefully, he will get his birthday wish and his voice will return. But if not, I am sure the Fanilows will not mind because he is such a showman!
This weekend, Kansas City was taken over by the Big Slick. Since the convention couldn’t book the Backstreet Boys, they did the next best thing.
They created their own Boy Band with Will Forte, Joe Lo Truglio, Zachary Levi, Taran Killam, and special guest Boy, Richard Kind!
Who knew the Only Murders in the Building scene stealer could sing like that? I didn’t. Now that I do, I want Will Forte and him to do a Musical Comedy?
Back in the ’80s, teenage girls were watching Soap Operas and were in love with Danny Romalotti on The Young and the Restless and Blackie Parrish on General Hospital. However, they never saw the two together, even if their posters were next to each other on their walls.
But that is no longer the case, because the singer shared a photo of the two of them after the Beach Boys’ drummer played the drums on a song for the Rom-Com creator’s new album.
I, for one, can’t wait to hear that single. I hope it is as sexy as Damian, 64, and Stamos, 62, are today. Seriously, what ’80s girl who had wet dreams about them when they were teens wouldn’t want to make those dreams come true now?
