Willie Nelson cancels his tour over breathing problems |

Willie Nelson is 86 years old, and he is not letting his age stopping him from touring. However, the highwayman announced yesterday he is forced to cancel the rest of this tour. He wrote, “I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out.” Then he added, “I’ll be back.”
Hopefully, it is nothing serious and he will be back on the road again real soon.
UPDATE: Willie Nelson’s people tweeted an update, “Willie is resting and feeling better. The tour will resume on September 6 in Gilford, NH. Thanks to all the fans for the continued [support].” I wonder what he will be doing until then? Who am I kidding, we all know. He will be getting high.

Willie Nelson is as known for his braids as he is music and pot smoking; and Larry King wanted to know why he has them on his OraTV show Larry King Now. The singer said, “Well, it pissed a few people off, and I figured it was worth doing.” Now over 30 years later, they are more iconic than something that pisses people off.
Who’d think that doing something as simple as braiding his pigtails to piss people off would be something he would still be known for today. Thankfully they did because I can’t imagine him without them, can you?

Ever wonder if Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson got together, who would out smoke who under the table? While Willie has years on Snoop Dogg that can work both for and against him.
Well we got that answer yesterday when Snoopzilla (his newest name) was Jimmy Kimmel Live, the ABC late night host asked him how many blunts he smokes a day. Snoop Lion (his former name) told him he smokes 75 of them a day, yes 75 a day. So Kimmel said that he bets that Willie Nelson would have a problem keeping up with him. To which Snoop (since he keeps that part of the name, I will stick with that one) was like no no no.
You see three years ago on 4/20 in Amsterdam (how perfect is that) the two of them played a concert together and smoked together. So much so, that Snoop told Jimmy, “Willie Nelson is the only person that actually smoked me out that I had to quit.” Now even though Snoop got his bong handed to him, he said that they still had a blast together. I hope somewhere there is a tape of this because it must be legendary.
Hats off to Willie because he can really hold his pot if he can make Snoop say mercy!
BTW James Franco was also a guest on JKL yesterday and I totally got a contact high from watching the show.

Willie Nelson was busted yesterday with 6 ounces of marijuana after his tour bus was stopped at the Border Patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca. When they searched his bus they found the pot and Willie Nelson claimed it was his according to the El Paso Times. Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West told the paper, “he could get 180 days in county jail, which if he does, I’m going to make him cook and clean.” That seems like a pretty harsh sentence for the 77 year old singer.
Nelson paid a $2,500 bond and was on the road again in the early afternoon.

For the first time in a really long time we are seeing Willie Nelson without his long braids. The 76 year old singer’s rep told the AP that he cut them in the past few week because his long hair was a lot of maintenance. I don’t know about you, but I find it so weird to see him without the braids. It just doesn’t look like him, he looks the same but different.
I wonder if he did it because he realized with less hair to maintain, the more hemp shampoo for him to enjoy?
