The Great North goes six feet south
October 4th, 2025 under Fox, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

Does it seem like animated shows on Fox never get cancelled? Well, not anymore. The Great North has aired its final episode.

Aimee Steinberger, who directed a few of the episodes, broke the news: “Sadly we got the news today that The Great North is officially cancelled. I’m pretty sad about it. It’s one of a very small number of shows I’ve worked on that I genuinely loved and I really loved the whole talented crew I worked with. I feel lucky to have been there.

“In a world of cynical and mean shows, The Great North was not that. The family loves and supports each other. I want to work on more shows like that. Either blood or found family.”

The Great North aired for five seasons, with the final one airing over the summer. Because of that, it is Fox’s lowest-rated scripted show, according to TVLine.

The news is not that surprising. Not only were the ratings south, but Fox also picked up American Dad, so something had to go, and everything else was picked up.

Coyote vs Acme will see the light of a movie theater
March 31st, 2025 under Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

David Zaslav has fucked up, time and time again ever since he took over Warner Bros. However, one of biggest fuck ups was shelving the completed Coyote vs Acme for a tax write-off in November 2023.

Well, today the movie starring Wile E. Coyote and Will Forte was saved by Ketchup Entertainment.

Gareth West, CEO of Ketchup Entertainment, said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to have made a deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring this film to audiences worldwide. Coyote vs. Acme is a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern storytelling, capturing the essence of the beloved Looney Tunes characters while introducing them to a new generation. We believe it will resonate with both longtime fans and newcomers alike.”

This is not the first Looney Tunes movie that Ketchup saved. They also rescued The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.

Coyote vs Acme will speed into theaters next year! Make sure to go see it in theaters as a fuck you to Zaslav. That is, if he still has a job by then.

Will Forte and Weird Al Yankovic are hot to go
November 11th, 2024 under Weird Al Yankovic, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

via Steps of Faith Foundation

Will Forte got Weird Al Yankovic to do something he never does at Thundergong 2024 this weekend?

What is this rare occurrence? The actor got him to sing a song as it was originally written and didn’t parody the single.

What song did the two W’s duet? It is Chappell Roan’s Hot to Go. And it was a total W, as in win! So much so that I want them to release an album of cool covers of songs that Weird did, like Mickey by Toni Basil, Madonna’s Like a Virgin, and Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana!

Even if I was the Last Woman on Earth, I would listen to it until I lost on Jeopardy. That would be kind of hard because I would be the only person playing.

Anyways, do you want to hear more from them in the future?

Will Forte gets under Seth Meyers’ blanket
May 20th, 2024 under Seth Meyers, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

Will Forte and Seth Meyers have been friends for a long time, so they hang out and play games.

Over the Summer, the Late Night host introduced the last man on Earth to a game called Under the Blanket. It is simple to play. At least two people go to a room and come out under a blanket, and the opposing team has to guess who is under which blanket.

The NBC host has so much fun watching it that he asked his former Saturday Night Live co-star to demonstrate the game on the talk show last week. And he agreed

So, Forte went backstage and came out under a blanket with a mystery guest. As soon as the blankets crawled out, Meyers could not stop laughing. And neither could we.

Did he guess right? Yes, he did. Who was under the other blanket? It was Rachel Dratch.

And now I want to host a game night so we can play the game!

That ’90s Show will be back in June!
May 12th, 2024 under Carmen Electra Dave Navarro, Cheech & Chong, Matt Rife, Seth Green, That '70s Show, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

That ’90s Show is the rare sequel series that is as good as the original. Therefore, I have been waiting to watch more episodes. This weekend, Netflix announced that Formans will be back on June 27th and then on October 24th.

“It’s 1996 and Leia Forman is back in Point Place for another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months of long distance. But she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate. Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.”

Don Stark and Laura Prepon are the OGs to guest star this season. But they are not the only guest appearances we can expect to see. They will be joined by Tommy Chong, Andrea Anders, Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Kevin Smith, Jason Meyes, Wayne Knight, Kadeem Hardison, and Matt Rife.

Are you excited to travel back to Wisconsin?
