One of the best things about autograph conventions is getting to see celebrities together who you would never expect to see hanging out.
Over the weekend at Astronomicon in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, and Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes got to hang out and get high. And we got a picture of the four stoners becoming friends.
And what I got to realize is that Jay and Silent Bob are the ’90s version of Cheech and Chong. How did I never put two and two together before? Did you see it before I did?
Cheech & Chong changed bud-dy movies forever with their film Up In Smoke in 1978. And now, they are smoking their last joint on camera.
Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie tells the story about how the comedy duo became best buds in the ’60s and enemies in the ’80s. They will share their life story on a road trip with the help of animation, archival clips, and plenty of marijuana. Because after all, it is Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong!
Their last hit will premiere appropriately enough on 4/20 on Paramount+. So grab a bag of edibles and Paramount+ & Get High!
That ’90s Show is the rare sequel series that is as good as the original. Therefore, I have been waiting to watch more episodes. This weekend, Netflix announced that Formans will be back on June 27th and then on October 24th.
“It’s 1996 and Leia Forman is back in Point Place for another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months of long distance. But she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate. Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.”
Don Stark and Laura Prepon are the OGs to guest star this season. But they are not the only guest appearances we can expect to see. They will be joined by Tommy Chong, Andrea Anders, Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Kevin Smith, Jason Meyes, Wayne Knight, Kadeem Hardison, and Matt Rife.
Lopez vs Lopez is back for its second season on NBC, Tuesday nights at 8p for an hour. This year, they are bringing the big names.
In the coming weeks, we will see Tisha Campbell, Lisa Rinna, Jaime Camil, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies, Marshawn Lynch, Diana Maria Riva, and Cheech Marin & Tommy Chong.
Tonight at 8p, the Lopezes go to a swap meet. George tries to tell his daughter Mayan’s boyfriend, Quinten (Matt Shively), how to barter. Can the nice guy get tough?
Then, at 8:30p, Quinten and Mayan are fighting because they are both too busy at work to do their house chores. Quinten thinks that Mayan can do more because she works out of the house. But she says she is too busy being a manager to do that. Can they come to a compromise before it is too late for the relationship?
And then there is Brice Gonzalez, who plays Chance, Mayan and Quinten’s son. He is still the awwwwdorable scene stealer he was last season! You can’t help but to love the little guy!
Before Michael Winslow was a cop in Police Academy, he was on unemployment in Cheech & Chong’s Next Movie. Even at just 21 years old, you can see how extremely talented he was in that 1980 movie.
