Timothée Chalamet is in London for the premiere of his movie A Complete Unknown, and he came in like a Hurricane. As in, the actor rode in on a Lime e-bike!
Giving the press something different and like a rolling stone, I am sure they loved it! Because the times they are a-Changin’ and they want something new, just like Bob Dylan was in the late ’60s.
UPDATE: According to Variety, the actor took the e-bike to beat London traffic. Since he was in such a rush, he did not park it properly. Therefore, causing him to get fined USD 73.45.
I wish they did that here because I am so sick of seeing those stupid bikes dumped in the most awkward of places.
Saturday Night Live has announced their next two hosts and musical guests. On January 18th, Dave Chappelle will be joined by GloRilla. The following week, Timothée Chalamet will be doing double duty.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, he is only the fifth non-musician to host and perform on the same episode. The other four are: Lily Tomlin, on Nov. 22, 1975 and Jan. 22, 1983; Desi Arnaz, on Feb. 21, 1976; Gary Busey, on March 10, 1979; and Deion Sanders, on Feb. 18, 1995.
Chalamet is playing Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown, which is getting the actor Oscar buzz. It is a smart move for him to prove to everyone that he could really sing, unlike someone else who recently won an Oscar for playing a musician but didn’t sing in the film.
In case you haven’t heard, Timothée Chalamet is playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. Today, the actor got the greatest compliment from the legendary singer.
“There’s a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!). Timothee Chalamet is starring in the lead role,” the known musician wrote. “Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me. The film’s taken from Elijah Wald’s Dylan Goes Electric – a book that came out in 2015. It’s a fantastic retelling of events from the early ‘60s that led up to the fiasco at Newport. After you’ve seen the movie read the book.”
The fact that Dylan wrote that with the movie being a complete unknown to him is pretty impressive. It will be interesting to see if he feels the same way after he sees the movie when it comes out on Christmas Day.
UPDATE: Someone told Chalamet about what Dylan wrote, so the actor responded with, “screaming crying laughing screaming laughing pooping screaming crying THANK YOU BOB !!!! DREAM COME TRUE !!!!”
Chalamet better hope the movie is a “dream come true” for Dylan, or the spirit of the Hurricane will come after him!
Before Timothée Chalamet was a multi-nominated actor, he got his start on Law & Order like so many New Yorkers. How believable was the 12-year-old as a dead body?
Have you ever wondered what Zendaya means? Well, now we know.
The actress wanted to see how well her Dune: Part II co-stars know her, so she asked them during a Vanity Fair shoot. And neither Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Timothée Chalamet, Javier Bardem, nor Josh Brolin knew the answer.
So, what is the meaning behind her name? It means “to give thanks.”
Awww. How nice! My name means “to rise again.” I am a Vampire, and she is someone we are thankful for. And that is why she is a movie star, and I am writing about her.
