Lisa Whelchel shared this picture of Charlotte Rae and her having lunch today, and they look just as close and as happy as they did when they worked on The Facts of Life together 3 decades ago. Can you believe that classic sitcom debuted almost 35, yes 35, years ago? Because they look like they haven’t aged day since they started working at Edna’s Edibles in season 5. Seriously, can you believe that Rae is 88 years young and the Survivor is 51. All I see are the two actresses I grew up idolizing looking just like I remember them. Simply beautiful!
You know since NBC is doing so many remakes, maybe they should consider doing reunion shows too. I’d like to see the Eastland girls, George Clooney, Mackenzie Astin and Cloris Leachman together again. Who’s with me?

Lisa Whelchel Tweeted this picture of Kim Fields and her together, and Blair and Tootie look as close as they did when they learned The Facts of Life at Eastland.
So what brought the two of the together? Let’s just say what did will bring a smile as big as theirs to your face. That’s because they are both starring in the Hallmark Channel movie, For Better or For Worse. I think we can all agree, it is all for the better!

Someone took the theme music from that show she was on, The Facts of Life, and inserted in clips from Breaking Bad to make it that show’s theme song. Funny how one of the most serious dramas ever to be on television actually can work as a sitcom.

Lisa Whelchel Tweeted the above photo and said “A perfect ending to my trip to Atlanta…dinner with my dear friend of almost 35 years, Kim Fields. #oldandgold”. But to us fans of The Facts of Life it is a perfect picture of Blair Warner and Tootie still hanging out after all of these. Plus the 49 year old Lisa and 43 year old Kim look like they are reuniting after 5 years and not 35. Don’t look fabulous?
You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have two beautiful friends who have lived the facts of life together!
BTW I love how Survivor has reignited Lisa Whelchel’s career and I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Lisa Whelchel has West Nile Virus |

A lot of us know Lisa Whelchel from The Facts of Life, but a whole new group of people are getting to know her as a contestant on Survivor this season. Well now the actress turned reality competition contestant took to Facebook yesterday to announce that she has West Nile Virus. All Blair Warner said was “Dr. just called with blood test results…I have West Nile. Ugh. I’m fine, just tired. Takes a year to recover. :(” At this time it is unclear if he she got it when she was in the Philippines shooting the CBS show or if she got it in her native Texas, the latter making more sense. But we are all hoping that she will recover quicker than her expected time because I know I for one love having her back on our televisions every week. You know one of the networks needs to cast her on another sitcom ASAP. Or how about we bring back The Facts of Life for a whole new generation? What else is the cast doing?
BTW Lisa is still a contestant on Survivor, so make sure to watch her tonight at 8p on the show. Who knew Lisa was nothing like her famous character? I mean Blair would’ve been out the second she found out there were no showers, but Lisa is still is going strong!
